I actually had some trouble getting into the first few episodes too, I won't say it's ridiculously bad, I enjoy the artwork, and I'm sure it'll be a decent show but it's hard for me to watch it...

u simply watch 1 episode of every single anime, dismiss it as e most boring and most pathetic show on earth, lie to yourself and others by placing it on your completed list and giving it a rating 1, and trying to convince other ppl that it sucks. i agree with moonhead, you totally cant expect to be taken seriously when u do this. if u list it as completed and dont tell the whole world that you only watched 1 ep then maybe it might work.

all animes need time to develop man. if you give up every anime after only 1 episode you're never going to enjoy anything that you watch

Almost finished it yesterday, my saving grace for it was a few of the characters, one thing I can't really enjoy is how it centers around tama so much.

Bamboo blade is not that great, but is enjoyable, the characters are nice and the story is fine to spend your afternoon watching some eps. of course is not for you if you're looking for an anime that reveal the entire history in the first episode (lolz).
with a lot of retarded action and stuff like that, inside is genre, Bamboo blade is a worth watching anime.

I just checked your anime list, and it made me lol. You must be a really stupid person if you still watch anime even tough you give a score of 1 to like 95% of it (which means you hate them from the bottom of your heart). Seriously, just stop watching anime if you don't like anime, you don't have to suffer just because you want to be the king of the trolls.

And it's kinda unbelievable the you're 23 years old since there is no sane 23 years old person who would write tags like the ones you wrote. If you are really 23 yo, you should visit a psychiatrist asap.

Well, aside from agreeing that Bamboo Blade probably isn't a bad anime at all- only read the manga, and I liked it quite a lot, and that's a trolling comment to make. I'd also like to say that the fact that a lot of you are trolling against Naruto fans for the whole 10/10 thing. >.>

Though I must also feel anger and outrage for the 1/10 against Aria though. >.>

Oh yes, the amount of loli porn in this anime is unbelievable! I might as well go watch the masterpiece called Naruto. Watching more than 100 episodes of badass fillers is way much better than watching the loli porn that is Bamboo Blade.

I actually read this because, while I don't think its the worst show ever, I am struggling through this series too and don't get why it has such a high rating either. (Though I wasn't expecting a troll thread either, more like a rational conversation on the merits and pitfalls of this show... whoops!) I am much farther than 1 episode in (18, at the moment) but its cruising a pretty average, nothing extraordinary feel for me and I came to see what other people -did- like about it and if it gets better. Too bad its just people trolling each other and nothing helpful at all to anyone.

That said, who cares if random people on the internet like what you like? I'm loving Aria, but can totally see why some people don't dig it. I'm sort of 'meh' about Bamboo Blade, but I can see why people like it, even if I don't. It would be boring if we all loved the same stuff. This, just like the rest of the responses, is simply my opinion and not to be taken to heart by anyone (such is the point.)

You only find what you seek. If you were expecting loli and ecchi, then you will only see loli and ecchi, even when there is none.

I personally am watching this anime because I actually practice kendo. If there's anything good about watching sports anime and the like, regardless of the art, story, plot, characters, setting, etc., it's that they get you really fired up about the sport or subject. I've had this experience with Chihayafuru, Saki, Kuroko no Basuke, and some others.
