since i dont want to repost this over and over in the comments i post it in here ;)
So thats how it is right now:
Vol.10 will be Published by Comic Valkyrie latest in October 2010 cause we have to wait for the Japanese to catch up since the Korean Publisher went bankrupt and Square Enix now holds on the copyrights alone not giving them away for now. Weird situation for the Korean fans to wait for the Japanese version of a Manhwa but for some reason it makes me feel a bit better :P :P :P

but its a really interesting fact that Square Enix gave the Copyrights for Korea to another Publisher for all the other Manhwas except UxU wich might have to do with the Prize they have set ? shure theyre not going to talk about that but if so... then why is UxU having a high prize ? .... its not animated after all .... ;) well lets wait for October im shure we all know alot more by then ^^

All signs are pointing to an anime run. It's just a matter of time. Sales of the drama did very well and the production company has options on all the seiyuu for a animated series already. It could very well be timed with the Japanese release of volume 10 of the manga.

So then we could likely see a UxU anime series in this year's Fall or Winter line-up. Now that would be interesting.

u never can rly tell whats going on ^^ i just noticed that with HOTD ^^
the manga was on hiatus for about 1 year and then they come up with new chapters
and the announcment for the anime at the same time xD they did it for the shock im shure xD

Well the whole hiatus thing happened to High School of the Dead and thats getting an anime this July by MADHOUSE. However, I am bit more skeptical with this though, since the hiatus is to do with the Korean Publisher became bankrupt. I know that Kurokami got an anime but UX2 is more of a long-shot imo. However, I would love to see this animated.

I haven't read the manga in ages and I was wondering if the series was scanlated with the more ecchier Japanese version because as far as I know, I read the ones that used the Korean scans of the manwha and not the Japanese manga version. ;)

I pray that if they do the anime, they follow the Korean version, but I think that is highly unlikely. Well, so long as they follow the manga closely, it'd be a win-win.
