| Hello everyone! The top 5 most nominated members have been tallied. And they are... zanmato666  Kayrhandros  Crystal  itainteazy  Faust721  Vote in the poll for who you think has the best list design. You do not need to post to say who you voted for, but you can if you really want to. Up to you. Voting closes on the 15th of June. Only thing I didn't like all that well was the way to test to the far right of the background turned out. Wasn't bad or anything, and I still think the whole theme was the best designed. |

The last one was the same too except for Vincent Valentine. female characters get votes, however considering that something like 30% of this site is female I guess doing a well done male themed design could potentially corner the market on the female votes while the males are left voting for the other 4 designs |

| Grats to the top 5~ -------------- And thanks to jupiterjazz, sleek and Kanashimi for the coments and votes :) -------------- About that thing you mentioned Crystal.. considering 4 of the 5 users in the top 5 are males it was prolly bound to happen ^^. I think designs using females will always be more appealing, even around women. Perhaps not to the same extend that a male using one, but definitely more than a male design would appeal to a male imo... (that almost calls for a discussion topic :P)... what im trying to say is: IMO, females are not bound to vote a great design using male char if there is design on the same level using a female char. While males on the other hand will most likely vote for the female design. EDIT: Atm it's 1.8:1 HadenIV. check it here I think that query might be interesting... if Xinil is up to it. And if you actually did a list with an yaoi theme, you'd most definitely not get my vote ^_^, however I'm pretty sure you'd get lots of votes from the fan-girls around here^^. |

| I know im not helping with this thread getting a bit side tracked here, however I think that would be something intersting to play around with. Should make a list with a yaoi theme to it and see what sort of results it would get. I am actually starting to get curious about some of the break down of this site. For instance I think I recall hearing that we have a male to female ratio of something like 2:1 however is that of active people of this site or based off of total number of people who reported there gender. Maby we could get xinil to do a quick query and report the number of males and females with more than 5 posts that have logged on durring the 7 days. |

| I knew those stats were around here somewhere =) to make the perviously mentioned query even more intersting would be to see the male to female ratio of votes on this poll when it was finished or to see the male to female ratio on the people who have posted over the last 7 days(as oposed to those who have simply logged in and have more than 5 posts). Ether of those would give much more accurate results as to who our target audence is for contest like this one. While I couldnt see having my own list with a yaoi theme to it, I think it could have some potential in cornering a good percentage of the female members of this site. With 1/3rd of the site it's self being female makeing something that appeals to them while the males are fighting over which loili theme is the best might just be a good stratigy. While I make no promices, I may end up making a gravation theme and seeing who wants to use it, just to observe how well recived it is by the female market on this site. |

| That's not true. Just because I have a penis doesn't mean I am automatically gonna vote female. If there was a male character up there that I recognized, thought was bad ass, and had a design theme that was graphically appealing then it would have my vote. As long I liked the male character more then any females posted. |

Though the question is really interesting as HaddenIV has pointed out. Hmm, think I will try to create a male "inspired" list the next time around that I get to do one. Guess I have to look at some male "inspired" anime to get the "inspiration" to do one though =).  |

| hmm, I am a girl and my list has a girl in the background...... ahahhaha.. I could change that.. I shall start searching out a good male picture.. Then again, I do not feel like figuring out new colours, so I am hesitant. Maybe at the end of summer, I wil. |

| If there's a tie between 2 or 3 users, we will create another poll. The results will be different because the people who voted for none of those 2 or 3 before, now have to choose a different one to vote for. |
