| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The raw was released a few hours ago and even though its pretty much against my principles to watch the raw (because I normally have no clue what they are saying for the most part), after reading the first few chapters of the manga, something inside of me really needed to confirm the quality of the anime. It seems they deviated a little bit from the manga in terms of what actually happens in the beginning. Though it wasn't unexpected, I was hoping for a tad bit more strict adaptation. I also found some of the comedy seen in the manga lacking a little in the first episode. But again, since it was only one episode, I'm not too worried about that right now. What really impressed me were the action sequences. They were nicely done, fast paced, detailed and exciting to watch. Although they were pretty short in this episode, its leaves me with a promising feeling that they'll handle the bigger ones well down the road. |

| Well, first thing I noticed is that the character's suffered from famine during the recordings =P. Took me a while to get used to the fact that they were so skinny, plus and maybe due to that some of the motion in the begunning seemed sorta akward. Dispite that, I still liked the animation a lot. I also loved how they made the backgrounds look like paintings. They did indeed deviate a bit from the manga... can't say I liked the fact much, but I can't say the deviation was bad either. I'd say a plus on the action sequences and a minus on the comedy scenes. They were not as hilarious has in the manga. Overall I liked it a lot, looking forward to see how they'll handle the next one. On a side note, I also had a "revelation" to who the guy in helping Miharu in the beginning is. I had got the wrong impression from the manga but about that, but it seems logical now... |

| I want subs so I know what's going on. :( I never read the manga, unfortunately. I really like the animation and fight scenes. Voice acting is OK so far. I'm hoping this turns into a great ninja themed anime. The world is lacking on those. ;D |

| The sub is out and I just watched it. Pretty average anime with a lot of badly-animated action scenes and some random shonen characters.The opening/ending are cool though, and it could be interesting to watch if I wanted to add some lesser animes to my watching list, but I already have more or less 12 series for this spring, so... Too bad, but I won't give it a chance. Dropped : 6/10. |

| Pretty good. The action scenes were pretty nice and I enjoyed some of the humor in it. |

| Naruto's got nothing on this ninjutsu:P Well I really enjoyed this episode, it had nice fight scenes and I liked the animation style, and Rokujo has a pretty weird but funny personality, anyways I wasn't disappointed, I'm really looking forward to more of this series^_^ |

| I surprised myself by really liking Kugimiya's performance. It had been a while since I heard her voice Alphonse, and I forgot that she can actually do guys. It seems alright, albeit a bit generic. The action scenes and animation have nothing on Soul Eater, which is probably its main competitor in terms of action this season. It's not bad, but it's not exactly good either. If the plot becomes a bit more involved and less typically Shounen it might be good. I'll keep with it for a bit, at least, although it is going on my "potentially will drop" list since there are already so many decent shows this season. |

| Love the art style and action sequences, however, as Crenshinibon, it didn't top Soul Eater in those areas. Still, I enjoyed it and am definitely gonna keep watching. Also I really like Miharu's personality. |

| I read the first like two chapters of the manga a while ago I think…I guess I’ll have to read the rest that are translated now…even though there’s not many. Good episode imo. The opening is sweet. I Really liked the art as well as Miharu’s personality. I’ll be watching the next few episodes for sure. |

| I'm glad it finally became an anime series. I think the animation is a wee bit stiff with the exception of the fighting scenes. Miharu is cute as ever! Can't wait for Yoite to enter the picture! |

| the art style is quite different but the backgrounds are beautiful. animation was a lil above average. i think that the dry humor is nicely done and gives a nice side to the main character. tho how the hell does he disappear so quickly in seconds without anyone noticing lol. |

| I don't really like Ninja Anime and fusing it with a present background is quite questionable but I'm ok with that in exchange for that awesome laughter that Miharu boy gave me. And it looks like his personality will bring us a lot of fun that way.  "Get lost, Narutard." |

| For a while there (restaurant scene) i thought Miharu was a girl(he seriously gave that impression), but i read the show's description and saw he was a guy... don't sound so moe and girly out of nowhere dammit! Well this seems like an interesting series. The fights look pretty good and the story doesn't seem too bad. I'll continue watching at least until i see that schoolgirl with a katana in the images... |
