According to Eiga.com, a live event "Gintama Spring Festival" was held on March 25th. At the event, director Takamatsu Shinji stated that "Gintama hasn't ended at all. It's not begun yet! We shall be back!". The co-director Fujita Yoichi said "When Sorachi Hideaki writes enough amount of manga chapters, I want to do the series again with the staff gathered here." Source: Eiga.com |

Well that wasn't such a big surprise considering that the anime was less than 10 chapters away from reaching the manga storyline. |

YESSSSSSS. :'D I had a gut feeling that they wouldn't end it this way.
