| Plot holes galore. Christ. Apparently the police don't check just outside the broken window to the home of people who were murdered. Way too many jumps in consistency and logic. |

Otherwise, I liked the FBI guy and that's all. Seems like Johan has police influence as well thou. Seriously, when are they gonna make Johan badass again? | i am enjoying the writing so far. a lot of things contradict each other and that keeps me watching. i find it funny how the show is based in japanese culture and tries to fit it in with european culture. in other words, europeans are speaking japanese and aren’t on the same level of cultural operation as dr tenma. i believe this is the writer/producer’s way of not trying to adhere strictly to conventional means of storytelling in anime. anime during this time period has always been in reference to japanese culture. this show is great so far. i am not sure if i will stay for the full ride, forseeing repetition in plot. |

| Anna shot Johan back then, no surprise there, but what Johan is planning with her interests me a lot. This is shaping up to be one of the best anime thriller I've ever seen. Anna or Nina and Tenma are after Johan while Lunge is suspecting Tenma, that will be quite the chase. |

| So Johan is really a psychopath even when he’s a kid. Asking to be shot by his own sister in the head might be his way to torture his sister. Imagine the trauma it will do to her, which really happened. In terms of psychological this anime is pretty well written so far. But the crime-detective part sort of lacking. Like what some noticed, why didn’t the police found a gun outside the window on Liebert’s murder. Or if they found it, Johan/Anna’s fingerprints should be there. Unless Johan is a real genius and used something not to left his fingerprints on the gun, and even instructed Anna to do the same. Hopefully these will be explained on the latter episodes. I wonder how powerful Johan is at their present time to have connection with those detectives. Though they seem stupid, being all suspicious when they have Tenma and Nina. That was an intense scene anyway. And Lunge seems to be misdirected to suspect Tenma more with these serial murders. |

| This is like taking to the extreme the moral dilemma of the death penalty or something. It forces you to reevaluete if every life is actually worth the same... There's no way poor Tenma could've possibly known that the child he saved was a serial killer, placing all the guilt on him is almost comical. |

| Just some backstory this episode. Tenma cant catch a break, can he? Dude probably lost his job by now. The only person I trust this far is inspector Lunge. I wouldn't be surprised if Tenma tries to contect him in future episodes. Though, he has no witness/evidence since Anna left him. |

| You don’t have to quit smoking anymore! Anna was the reason Johan had a bullet hole in his head then she must have seen him do something awful. Those police acting like total npcs was a bit ridiculous. Think about the future your future? Her parents were just killed by her crazy brother who she just remembered she shot in the head. No way that detective found that tie that quickly in the first bush he searched haha. These things said I’m still really enjoying the show. It has a really serious tone compared to allot of other anime so I find it hard to gloss over some parts that wouldn’t normally bother me in other shows. |
| Damn Johan even has some control over the police force and I felt bad for Mauler because we got to know him and his backstory then we had some character development he was going to end up changing his habits and do good for himself but now he’s gone |

| I liked when Nina asked Temna why he helped Johan. He was doing his job, believing that all lives are created equally but what he did is only costing the lives of more innocent people. What should he have done? |

| I was so confused when the "police" arrived and didn't suspect that Tenma killed those 3 people, I almost disregarded it as stupid writing. Thankfully Tenma adressed it soon enough, and turns out, the bastards seem to be working with Johan!! Poor Maurer. |
