I just saw episode 1, and have to say, it was sick. I have been waiting eagerly for this serie to release, and i was sure not dissapointed. The graphichs and details were just nice. The fighting was awsome and i am looking forward to the next episode to release.
What do you guys think?
And i didnt get the thing about "save us lord" thing in the episode =/

I went to the spiketv website yesterday and tried to play the media player but the thing was going to slow, i'm going to wait instead till it air on tv. But i'm really excited to watch it though

I downloded it at http://www.tokyotosho.com/search, but if i could, i would rather watch it one tv. The serie is a "fast" serie, there happens things very quick. I hope you other guys will enjoy this serie too ;)
And i hope a good fansub group takes on this serie..

I found the first episode to grusome for my liking I may watch the episodes at a later date since there are not many of them.

Fuck Yeah! I was hoping he would make some Snakes on a Plane reference...ah well...best american voice acting..ever...then again its Samuel L Jackson and I'm probably being a douche for stating what everyone already knows ;)

I had friends tell me about this one, but have been putting off watching it.
That was a mistake. This first episode had great animation, action, script and sets up the plot of the series perfectly. I can't wait to watch the rest.

i think this was hyped wayyy to much for me. this episode wasnt that amazing it was good,yeh but no amazing.. the story is interesting though

After I was finished watching this episode first I checked on Internet the data abou Afro Samurai Game. I have to buy it. It's so cool! As regards for this episode I don't dare to say that is excellent. It's a good start of story and all that but something is wrong here. i don'r know exactly what but it is something.

This is freakin' awesome. I loved the first episode. And it has great dubbed (I mean besides Samuel L., who we already knew was gonna be awesome.) The story isn't complicated, and the visuals are great. So looking forward to the rest.

Am I the only one who found this to be rubbish? People are actually complimenting the script and the story, really?

The animation was fairly good, but every other aspect was mediocre.

- Voice Acting (Admittedly, I usually only watch subs, but they're not available)
- Language (Too much use of 'Mother Fucker' and shit like that. I normally don't give a flying fuck about how people speak, but this was just irritating)
- Story (Seriously? My father was killed, I want revenge. Could it be anymore cliche?)

I'm going to finish this simply because it's so short, but I'm not giving my hopes up.
