| Really great ep, I didn't think they would ever show blood in this anime (even if it's not actual blood). Storywise that ep about Mizuki's was definitely darker, but visually this one was the most shocking. It only just now hit me that next is going to be the last episode, and that this one was mostly to open the way to Shizuru's dilema on the end. I'm looking foward for the next ep, even though I don't want the series to end... ._. It just felt too short, somehow it went by completey without me noticing. And as usual, Mizuki-chan was lovely this ep too X3 |

| Yeah wow that was crazy. The part with those spirits eating Shizuru blew my mind. This show has already managed to bring out really eerie moments but seeing her laying in a pool of blood tops it all. It was good to come back to this sort of episode again. It felt like the past few episodes started to lean more towards slice of life and youkai were less involved. It's a shame though, I've been watching this on and off for months and yet it feels like I didn't have enough time with it now that there's one episode left. |

| Re-watched: I don't really remember it being this way, but everything is really starting to come together. The way this episode relates to the cat one that preceded it; with Shizuru understanding better what it means for a person to see someone (their cat) as an individual with their own mysterious desires and emotions (though with Mizuki sort of taking on most of the emotional burden I was surprised to see Shizuru start to cry as well), and in this episode with Shizuru almost selfishly, or at least the show wants to imply that, encourage someone else (whose feelings are complicated though they seem simple) to come to her side so as to not be alone in dealing with her anxiety of leaving. Shizuru who seemed so mysterious at first, so much so that it was kind of hard to relate to her or understand her, has really grown on me. Of course, as we saw many episodes ago, Mizuki is also fearful of being left alone. Though from her perspective, it is more like being left behind. |
