| It was one of the most unique anime i have seen. Very awesome and touching, to be honest the ending leaves a hole in my opinion, but i know its because there will be another season, its confirmed, 30 april. The chemistry between Lawrence and Horo was just gorgeus. This will get a 10/10 from me. Thinkin on a 9/10 because of the ending. But i will leave it that way. The ending is just the ending, i really enjoy'd this one. Just lovely. |

| Great show, unique, intelligent, and a relaxing watch. The characters, atmosphere, and overall feel of the anime are quite refreshing. 9/10 now bring on the OVA and second season! |

| The little quarrel at the end just made my day; I love how Lawrence went completely serious about Horo being a shorter name to say. Not much of an ending, but hey, we're having a second season. Hoping that it's going to be as great as this season. 9/10 for the whole anime, I get a vague feeling that some things could've been better. Need more medieval-merchant anime. |

| Decent ending. Not amazing, but I don't think this is supposed to be final anyway. Lawrence is finally able to counter Horo's demands, which makes it more entertaining. |

| I really enjoyed this show. It was very laid back and relaxing. I now can see why everybody likes Horo. She has such a unique personality, and is so quirky and cute. 8.5/10 for me. |

| NICE NICE AND NICE HORO WAS JUST PURE WIN IN THIS ONE. SHE OWNED THOSE BASTARD ASSES. WTF, AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN KISS?! HOPE THEY KISS IN SEQUEL. 10/10 for me. Very unique Anime. First time I've seen this kind. Horo was indeed very, very, very awesome. So, does Lawrence, and Norah. GOING TO WATCH THE OVAS AND SEQUEL TOMORROW. MORE HORO FTW. |

| 8/10, Horo and Lawrence are both great characters and have a very genuine relationship. The show did start slow and didn't really pick up until the 5th episode and the last 4 or so episodes were just incredible. I have high hopes for the 2nd season. |

| Ah, my opinion is a bit different on this series. It was constantly on the border of being something I really liked. Just as Horo always teasing Lawrence, the series kept teasing me. Admittedly the last few episodes were really cool but the episodic/side-story merchant business is such a bore. I like the main story but there's not much on that. I wish they kept all 26 episodes in one season. Does season 2 finish the story? Do Lawrence & Horo ever become a couple? Not even sure why this has a romance tag on it since it seemed to only hint at the possibility. Somehow it doesn't seem fair for me to rate this series without seeing season 2. |

| A good 9/10 for me. This series never really bore me and everytime I had to rewind, I wanted to see Horo's cute teasing moments at Lawrence. I might be going into the financial course in College and this show greatly amused me. Horo is awesome. :D |

| It was a nice ending, but the no kiss scene cost them 1 point. So its a 9/10 for me. Can't wait to start watching the next season and OVA. This story might just motivate me go learn Japanese and read the novel. I like it. |

| Very relaxing and interesting series. I loved the slow pace and the interaction between Lawrence and Horo. And what can I say about the last one? This girl is one of the most adorable, charismatic, cuteness and brilliant female I met in all my life. Definetly she stole my heart. This show has a lot of potencial, so I'll go for the second season... 8/10 |

| western medieval anime love it, story was unique and horo extreme kawaii 10 from me. Only thing i didnt like is Horo`s dealing with enemies no one got clawed or bitten you would expect more fierce fighting from wolf... |

| I loved this series, beginning to end. The way the story was told as one continuous long fim, which I utmostley enjoyed. I couln't help watching the next episode right after finishing one, like simply turnong the page to 'take a peek' on the next chapter, but ending up going on until the end. I'm looking forward to watching seaso two, and hope it will a wonderful as the first season. |

| Action is really not the forte of this series, animation drop with most of the curse pursuit and fight. I was quite disappointed in the last episodes. Most of the twists were there to test the relation between Horo and Lawrence, which is not a bad thing, but it felt a bit overused and with all those contrived twists the plot didn't seem to progress a lot. Still a good anime overall, I gave it a 7 for the moment, I might give it a 8 later. |

| Hmm I really liked it! But I thought the climax happened a little too quickly, making the ending feel a little abrupt to me, though I suppose I should be grateful they didn't drag it out or something. It was still a great episode - lots of highlights. :D Can't imagine how I would feel about the ending if I didn't know there was a second sequel. XD It seemed more like the end to the first season in an anime that's should just be continuous. Anywayyy~ 8/10 for me, based on enjoyment. I really liked it, though not as much as others, it appears. Look forward to watching more, regardless. :] |

People even blame the poor crop for Horo's uneven temper .even thou Horo explain that he purposely does that because it is to ensure a stable crop for the next year. Furthermore, the village rely more on modern agriculture technology from the landlord. |
