| It was ok until after episode 15 where it started to go downhill but still ok, but Ep 19 and beyond was just them trying to be Gurren Lagaan/Gunbuster and failing miserably. The whole "AILENS" plot twist couldve been better had it had more episodes rather than being crammed into 5-6 episodes. |

I will agree that the entire aliens part could have been expanded upon with more episodes. It just feels like they kind of wasted time and space and didn't knew what to do with the closure being close. After seeing the result they could have maybe cut down the character focus arcs a little and not a lot could have been lost, despite me liking that part of the series as a whole. The show was better when the scale of the conflict was smaller and more focused, it couldve been about Hiro starting a rebellion amongst the parasites against Papa, who instead of ailens, couldve been either an superintelligent AI or some sort of hive mind. It couldve been humanity fighting against itself to fix itself. But then AILENZ come in and remove all accountability from humanity and making them the just victim. They couldve also given more arguments for Papa's Tranhumanism than just shoehorning individualism all the damn way. Im for individualism but the way they treat it as if clinging to it makes you morally insurmountable is off-putting. |

| Well ... it is not unusual for it to drop. Had an okay-ish start. Got a bit better. And the focus on the chars was nice. (But some were annoying characters.) I have waited and thought they might bring some nice twist and good ending. But it was just the usual insane Japanese twist and felt like crap in the last third. Started with 7, then 6 (in episode 2 ... boring training) ... then moved to 8 stable. But in the end it got lower to 7 again and with the last episodes to 6 ... then 5 as final score - for me. Lower than 8 is a score it deserves. And between 7.5 and 8.0 (higher than 7.5) is a high score for the stuff this show delivered. There are a lot of "decent" shows that even have 6.xx only. I think MAL is getting more critical. Years ago these would have gotten 7.xx and Franxx would have gotten 8.5+ But then again ... there are still those fans hyping S;G and S;G 0. While S;G 0 is a lot better it still does not deserve anything higher than 8.5 (and personally I wouldn't score S;G higher than 7). |
| This is the show i knew it will fall dramatically after it finished airing.You just know and get the feeling after spending so many years spending in anime community that which anime will fall at the end of the season and which will be acknowledged by anime community. |

| I watched it until the second episode and then dropped it. It was really meh. I read/watched people's reviews and reactions and spoiled myself. I'm glad I did because I didn't waste my time on this mediocre series. |

| It deserves that rating, maybe even less. It started out promising and was decent until episode 15. The four episodes after that were alright, but the finale was utter garbage, with VIRM being the worst and most cliché villain I have ever seen. |
