| I love the song that Yuuichi and Mai danced to~! So pretty. *o* Pretty good episode, especially the last half with the dance. Yuuichi certainly cleans up nicely. ;P Mai looked gorgeous, too; pink really is her color. And of course the demon had to come and ruin everything. Poor Mai. |

In the previous version of Kanon (2002), they kind made it more reliable that Mai was the falty person, because everything went dark and everyone run off desperatelly, and only Yuuichi saw the fight. In this version (2006), i too thought it was a bit too much from that stupid council president, because they made the monster attack be seen by everyone. Maybe they're trying a different aproach for all this. My opinion: this episode was really nice, things are better explained then in the later version and the fight scene was amazing!! |

| Why do so many people not like this episode? I for one thought it was great especially the dance and the scene with chibi-ayu the demon bit messed it up a little but still a nice episode. |

| Pretty good episode. It was hard to watch Sayuri get hurt and Mai get into trouble. For the student council president; is he blind not to notice that Mai was dancing when all this started??? Sure she swung a sword around later giving a good impression or a crazy lady, but she she didn't do anything but dance and then stand there until Sayuri got hurt. I would hope this counts for something in her favor...don't really expect it to though. |

| One of the best episodes so far, don't know why people wouldn't like it. As soon as they started dancing and everyone started watching I had a feeling that something was going to happen. I think the monster is really after Ayu because it looked like Yuuichi brought her with him to the school in the preview and when it looked like the monster had attacked, it was only Mai and Yuuichi standing there, also when the monster hit Sayuri and Mai saw her as Ayu, maybe the monster also saw Ayu. |

| At least, a decent episode. I know that Mai arc will be interesting ad more dramatic. One of the problem in Kanon is the absence of antagonists: now we have one. Blow said: In the previous version of Kanon (2002), they kind made it more reliable that Mai was the falty person, because everything went dark and everyone run off desperatelly, and only Yuuichi saw the fight. From that perspective, I like more the 2002 version. It's more true to the game and let the character more ambiguous. But this episode was indeed fine. |

| I'm relatively certain that the Student Council President knew full well that Mai had nothing to do with it. It's fairly obvious that he has some sort of grudge against Mai- it just has yet to be revealed. Also, it is incredibly easy to use someone who everything looks at as strange in the school as a scape goat. So if the blame was gonna be put on anyone, it's not so surprising that it was Mai. That isn't necessarily a good thing but it seems to be the most likely answer. Just my two cents. Although, it was pretty strange to see Mai actually look like she has a mouth in this episode once the s*** hit the fan. Every other episode she has been featured in she looked like she either had no mouth or was just too tight-lipped. I guess that made the scene more effective? That animation always bugged me a bit, even if it is a staple of Kyo Ani. Regardless, great episode. |

| OMG she was so pretty!!! its cute she got embarrassed and hit them on their head XD she was a really great dancer and every1 noticed and liked her ^^ she even blushed and smiled!!! its too bad though that the daemon came to the ball and no one could see it... poor Mai... omg and it sucks that Shiori couldn't go to the ball... i loved the poetic thing with Cinderella... and are they SISTERS?! that be cool! oh yeah and im guessing she lost that doll... it was a nice flashback ^^ |

| They suddenly introduce a nemesis for Mei and then set it up so that (of course) invisible demons attack the Ball and she gets blamed for it. We call that "poor writing". Still, I like Mei. She's very Saeko-ish (HSoftheD). |
