Just because Fuu was in the hallucination does not mean that she was having the hallucination. It was from Mugin & Jin's point of view. I thought it was a pretty lame episode but I like that they managed to get undead into the show!! |

Ah, yeah. This episode was a let down after the previous ones that were just pure awesomeness. I know it had a deeper meaning, as I can see others have outlined it more clearly, but still. It was just an okay episode for me. Somehow it seemed sort of out of place. I dunno. Whatever, onto the last few episodes. |

It was... strange. As soon we are hinted they are zombies I figured it would be hallucinations, but it's true we didn't see Fuu eating mushrooms. It's kinda disappointing watching it after the last great arc, but this was not the wors ep, there were 2 episodes I liked less, one being the recent graffiti duel one |

This episode bored me and seemed like a fan-response to: What if Mugen, Jin, and Fuu were in a horror film? Bad idea. |

Silverhammer said: YoungVagabond said: Maybe this was just me, but I was pretty sure that the entire episode was an allegory for Japan's involvement in World War 2. A crazed ruler from a long-dead, long-obsolete generation battling for hopeless ideals? His oblivious supporters, who gladly KILL THEMSELVES for him? His empty promises? A goddamn MUSHROOM CLOUD, identified as such? That seems coherent and plausible to me. I agree ^^ |

It was all hallucinations caused by the shrooms, I mean mushrooms. For people that say Fuu didnt eat any, Jin explains that mushrooms spread spores (through air) which probably affected Fuu as well. This was a boring episode but it did have hidden meaning which is commendable. |

Very trippy episode but I liked it. I would have prefered an episode adapting on the previous one though... |

If you notice, the adventure they had somehow doesn't connect but will lead to the same conclusion.. to begin with finding the person who smell like a sunflower doesn't have any connection at all instead they put in series of events just to make it stay connected |

Interesting episode but I wish that they had continued with something from the last one. Hopefully they will in the next. |

obviously a hallucination, i mean, the freakin episode was called cosmic hallucinations. oh, and the whole WW2 allegory seems kind of far-fetched to me |

I thought it was WW2 related and then the mushroom cloud at the end proved that. Pretty clever episode really. |

interesting episode. That leader of that digging expedition looked pretty badass. He was weird though. |

This was as pointless as the Christian missionary episode. Sigh and after eps 20 and 21 were so good. |
