one of the BEST recaps EVER. i love how they did it ~ as diary entries, with commentry from mugen and jin, which made it HILARIOUS!!!!! nothing like other boring recaps! this one was worth rewatching :D made me burst out laughing MANY times.     |

Never saw Jin fight without his swords before or at least I don't remember it. I wished that he took her along with him on the journey or start there own.  |

Oh God, this episode ;_; I like it how it uses the historical context to bring theme like divorce or prostitution and to set the plot. Somehow it shows some problems of the period and with one character we can see how it's difficult to be married to an idiot and to not be able to divorce. Also how it's difficult to be forced to prostitution because of the husband retardness. I don't think Jin wanted to get involved with her at first, but he couldn't help compassionate for her. She wanted to commit suicide instead of living a pretty much like slavery life, which is quite understanble, and thanks to Jin she ended up by not giving up all of her hopes. Awesome episode, one of my favorites of all times ;_; |
