| According to Mainichi news, a CGI anime of Space Pirate Captain Harlock was announced. The production will begin in 2011 and the premiere is planed in or after 2012. | OK, so how is this going to relate to all of the other Harlock anime and the Leijiverse in general, then? I might watch it if I enjoy some of Matsumoto Leiji's other anime productions, whether they are linked to Harlock or not. |

About that first it's supposed to be in July http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-10-09/cg-saint-seiya-film-aimed-for-next-july-with-possible-new-show well they have a lot of shows to reboot and Precure/One Piece to give them money to do so... so it's good they use it in this way. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

According to the Guardian UK the film will be shown under the 'Out of Competition' category.
