Hmmmm. This one seemed so hurried. Still, I can't wait for the last ep! Haven't read the manga yet, but will after it's all over. I wonder what Nodame is thinking ... and I wonder what Chiaki will do ... and I wonder how it will all end! I agree, if she simply goes back to Japan to be a schoolteacher - what a waste.

ahhhh.. just why did someone start about complaining how the manga ended.. now i'm really worried..

My dear, I was a bit teary-eyed when the ED started to play..
I wished they didn't know the 'climax' of the next episode, but if it truly will play out like they showed us, it will be nothing less than perfect. Aaaaah!..

Wait wait, when I saw the pyramids of Cheops, I was like 'Egypt?! Oh no you didn't!'..
Haha, that sure was a great moment, but at the same time so reckless.

(And please don't spoil the manga ending for the non-readers, please, I want to get reading that as well. ;) )

Oh god I can't wait for the last episode!

NOOOOO. They have been removing or replacing some things from the manga I loved sooo muuuuch ;___; For example, the scene with coughChiaki'sdadcough. Aaarrrgh.

I want to cry. But I'm not even sure if it's because the replaced scenes, or the fact that the next will be the last episode... or just the fact of seeing Nodame sing so cheerfully and Chiaki finally showing he deeply cares about her. AAAAH.

I love Nodame Cantabile so fucking much. Sniff.

Same here. I was waiting for that moment till the end.... but i loved how they made it in the anime - meaning that Chiaki figured it out by himself xD It was the best when he said he's gonna accept :)
Can't wait to see how they wrap this story up. No matter how they do it, though, one this is clear - Chiaki and Nodame seem to be going toward a steady relationship, so it kind of obvious they're gonna stay together.....

Great episode but it's sad that the there is only one episode left. This season definitely feels rushed. I miss the Nodame/Chiaki interaction from the first season...

I don't know that this was what I was looking for in the penultimate episode of Nodame. It felt slow, but rushed at the same time. It was funny in parts, but nowhere near as poignant or introspective for Nodame as I needed it to be. The best scene was her being stopped by the random guy in Egypt telling her how touched he was by her performance. But I didn't get to see enough of her reaction or thoughts. I can only hope that she'll choose to be an artist and strive to give people the feeling that she has when she listens to Chiaki. But then I question if that kind of maturity is even in her character. All I can remember is someone's comments from last week saying that all she knows how to do is run away. I don't want to believe it because, like Charles, I've hoped for just the opposite.

I'm going to go crazy until I see it for myself.

me too :-/ and I'm really worried... what will she chose? there's too much possibilities for just one (ending) episode. i'm so sad :(
but that part, nodame playing piano with the kids, is so sweet :)
