| Mikado = JUST FREAKING AWESOME AND BADASS. :D Namie looked fine as hell, but that wasn't such a bright move on her part. Selty was great realizing: "Freaking screw it, I'm going to kick some ass." And everyone when they find out that a 16 year old guy is the head of Dollars, they are going to crap themselves. I'm freaking out just about it... Seiji may have a knife/scalpel but why do I have the feeling that Mikado does something to prevent himself from being stabbed. --- Randy |

| One of the best episodes of anything I've seen in anime. Having Miria and Issac from Baccano! appear was inspired. I think this show has stepped up another notch. Can't wait for the rest. |

| There were Baccano posters in previous episodes, and Mikado's Dollars website password is "baccano" but I never would have guessed that they would put the actual Isaac and Miria into Durarara. |

Baccano & Durarara are in the same universe so it's not surprising if some of Baccano characters especially Immortals makes cameo appearance.Waiting for kickass couple Firo & Ennis makes appearance XD |
| Great episode since we get to see how Dollars was made, and everything. I think Yagiri needs a FALCON PUNCH to the face or something since his obsession with Selty's head is beyond the point of obsession. |

| Just finished this episode, and all I can think to myself is "holycrapholycrapholycrapholycrap". My heart can't stop racing! This was such an amazing episode!! Auuughh, I need to go rewatch it again!! So it turns out Mikado actually CREATED Dollars? Very, very interesting. And Selty reveals herself to the public- what a bold move! I can't WAIT to see what happens next! Especially with Seiji at the end... I'M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT! (By the way, I totally laughed my ass off at Isaac and Miria. Like for 5 minutes. THEY ARE SO AWESOME ;AAA; ) |
| ISAAC & MIRIA~~ I had a feeling they would appear in this show sooner or later. Love those guys <3 The Dollars gathering scene felt a little...slow? Or at least not very exciting. Cool, but not exciting. Celty 'freaking out' toward the end, on the other hand, was a good mix of both. I especially like how everyone could hear her voice. |

I think Mikado just hacked the Dollar site but I think he is not the founder, he is just an unexpected hacker Amazing episode! So what did Selty's head told the headless Selty?? that she got berzerk that showed her existence. And the next ep will be so intruiging - I mean Seiji and Mikado face to face |

| WOW. Great episode. First, let's get the epic Isaac and Miria cameo out of the way. I LOL'd so hard when I saw it was indeed them! They're the best. Seriously. The only thing I was a bit confused on is why the sudden Celty freak-out? I'm assuming it had something to do with what she wrote on her PDA, which was left untranslated in the subs. GAH. Was it because she got confirmation that her head was attached to some random girl's body? I'm also a bit confused as to why people can suddenly hear her voice, whereas before, she was reliant on a PDA. The "Creation of Dollars" story, while no means as cool as I thought it would be, still seems to fit Mikado's personality rather well. He's not the type of person to gather together a gang of dangerous people, but instead he just wanted to network with people from outside his little town. Part-way through Mikado's heroic speech (and his raising of his cell phone - I laughed and imagined him yelling out something like, "Moon Prism Power!"), my attention wandered just slightly. It did feel rather drawn out compared to the fast pace of everything else, particularly Celty's freak-out scene, and when I saw the "camera" taking in so many shots of the crowds, I knew what they were and took a good guess as to what was going to happen =/ |
| I knew that Baccano and Durarara took place in the same timeline, but I didn't expect them to just straight up drop Issac and Miria into Ikebukuro like that. Took me totally off-guard, and it was AWESOME. As cool as Celty's freak-out was, I'm having a little trouble understanding why she did it. Did the revelation that her head was grafted onto a murdered body destroy her faith in humanity and drive her to insanity? I guess I'll just keep watching (not like I wasn't going to). Woo go Mikado. I like how his tone and inflection were uneven when he was first talking with Namie, giving that little extra bit of authenticity. You really get the feeling that he's just an average teenager trying to make a difference in his own way. And, for what it's worth, Seiji once again proves that male and yandere are generally not a good combo. Granted, the only other male yandere I can think of is Rolo from Code Geass, but we all know how much people liked him. |

And with that it almost feels like this anime is close to ending, yet there are still 13 episodes to go. well, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. | Awesome episode; kind of like end of the first half, and now we really get ready to rumble! I would've enjoyed being surprised by the Baccano! cameo but some asswipes (not here) spoiled it for me so I was expecting it the whole time. People like that should just choke on a chickenbone and die. Baccano!'s one of my fave shows ever and it would have been such a delight to not have expected I&M who are <3 (but you know that). May Rail Tracer "deal with" ppl who spoil things for others. Feh. (BTW, in this thread it's fine since most read here AFTER watching the ep, but the one I'm referring to was for BEFORE. Anyway, horse/dead...) As for why Selty freaked out, I am thinking along these lines: Being that she's been musing with Shinra on "memory" "identity" and "self" and such, and Mika replied "Selty", here is what Selty typed: "Who are you?" Realizing that Mika thinks of herself as Selty... she went off (literally)! Whaddya think? |

| Well done episode with my favorite scene from book 1. Now I can't wait to see what all they throw into the next episodes! Isaac and Miria was pretty lulz, I was laughing the whole time. Now I wonder what arc will be explored next... I have my ideas but only time will tell. Naturally more will have to be done with "slasher" ..... CAN'T WAIT!!!! Aghhh, to all of you who thought this was amazing, you ain't seen nothing yet!! |
