name of mecha anime? helP!!

this was an anime where the guy would like be absorbed/fused/linked inside his mecha, not pilot via computers like gundam seed, more like his actions or fighting inside and mecha would move acording to his movements.. was shown before 2005, i think axn, but i searched axn forums etc... and couldn't find it... his mecha was white and size was a little bigger than human size PLSSSS HELP :(

My guess would be either Tekkaman Blade or Detonator Orgun.
