Mine is also Dragonball and my first anime that I liked that got me really hooked was Samurai X   Mess with the BEST and die like the REST !! |

My first anime was far beyond my intended age group at the time. I remember picking it up way back in 1989 while I was still in Kindergarden, all because I thought the cover "looked neat." :P It was called "Windaria," and it was a romantic tragedy fantasy anime about two lovers from opposing kingdoms. Either have been Speed Racer, or this movie called THUMBELINA we had on VHS when I was little which I later found out was the first three episodes of kids series called "Oyayubi Hime." Which isn't on this site, is there a way to add it? |

Hmmmm I think it's Dragon Ball Z but I never really followed it, so I suppose the first proper one I watched (knowing full well it was an anime) is Love Hina..........yeah I think so.....saw it when I was 10....maybe it was Sailor Moon.......one of the two :)    |

Sailor Moon... *feels queerish* My sister rented it from blockbuster when I was 5-6 years old, and I thought it was a regular cartoon...with short skirts...and meatball head and spaghetti hair... *plays russian roulette with himself*  |

Sailor Moon and proud of it. Watched on ch 11 before I went to elementary school in the morning. I would have watched Dragonball too but that came on when I had to be at the bus stop. lol I actually like the original sailor moon series. My first anime which I ever seen was "Candy Candy".. I seen this anime, when I was about 4, so I don't remember this anime very well. :3 Second anime I ever watched was Dragonball. I really liked this anime and at this moment I remember many episodes of this anime. :) |

The first anime I watched that I knew was anime would be CN's Anime Invasion way back many many years ago. Late at night they ran some movies and I caught the first Project A-Ko, and the original Vampire Hunter D. They both blew me away, especially D. However, as I said these were the first that I knew were anime. After some research I found out several series I grew up watching were in fact anime. I simply hadn't known what anime was at the time so I didn't know. The actuall first anime I ever watched would've been shows like Star Blazers, Voltron, Speed Racer, and Astro boy.  Give the gift of love, and people think you're cheap. Give them a cheap bit of crap, and they love you for it. Go figure |

The first one I ever saw was sailor moon, then DBZ then pokemon but i never really continued to the end with them. The first one I did complete on my own was school rumble if you dont count joint opprations with a friend like gundam seed, but ya school rumble was teh one that got me going.   |
