And finally new font, but they somehow look out of place all the time, its actually never that good to place them above objects, try to find empty spots, since the updates aren't the main point of attention in the sig. ;)

Well its not that easy with this sig, but I wouldn't put the updates directly on the pic, since the updates aren't the main point. Maybe at the top, where there is a bit more free space between pic and splatters?

I think directly on the pic is ok, rather I would choose a fancier font, make the font color red, and put a black border around it.

yeah....fonts in sigs are always a pain. That's why i usually stick to small fonts...

@Seriousbznz: The render is blurrier than the background, the centre of a sig shouldn't be the text, but, in this case, the render. And you might want to add a border too. I like the background and the colour theme though, nice pick.

Ohh, and you have a white border around the girl, you would want to remove that.

Actually it's a guy named Agito/Akito/Lind. He has 3 personalities, the one in the pic is the "gay" one, who is in "love" with the main guy. He's other self is a badass killer machine, and his 3rd personality is an adulty person who has feeling for one girl in the manga.

- It's 6px over the limit.
- The previous one looked better.
- The render... why don't you use an already rendered image instead of doing it yourself?
- The border is way too tick. Usually 1-3px is enough, when you use more than 5px then don't put it on all four sides. Top and bottom, or only one side works fine.

Edit: it's so annoying when a new comment is posted while you type... >_> Basically, what Luppi said.

the name in the top right is mine I threw in just to see what it would look like really, and as far as high quality pictures I looked at aero's tut even though I don't use PS for the render sites and I don't really see any ones I like >< but yeah I had a feeling that one was crap, thanks for the honest opinion.

Thing is I always check how the sig looks on night MAL but I didn't this time, even though I use normal MAL.

@Seriousbznz: Well there are various render sites such as anime-renders.com where you have to post 30 times in the forums to view the galleries, but that is not a problem since most of the time you can just write on sentence.

@Meri: bishounen eh? The colours are nice, but the blur (on night MAL) somehow doesn't match the style. Are you having trouble with the anti-aliasing because you are using Gimp?

@Sunyi: never checked before, but your sig looks more amazing on dark background :)

yes. i'm partial to bishonen more then bishoujo :P
yea....night MAL. There was I time that I cared about that, but not anymore. If it looks good on normal MAL then it's perfectly fine with me.
Lol Gimp. Don't know how to use that >_>

Nah, I think the edges are a bit more sharper cos I used a magic wand to extract the pic ( usually I use the pen tool, but like I said...stoped carring )
And as far as the box is conserned I think it's because I used a stroke 3px to match the pic. Idk.
