About time Misao learns the truth. Kenshin should have just told her earlier.

I can't wait to see what these new enemies are like.

Got some HSDK vibe from this episode for some reason. That guy MUST be the strongest among them lol. Since he is Kenshins master :)

About time someone told Misao.

Oh Kenshin. <//3

I feel bad for Kaoru, even though Kenshin didn't get mad at her. :/

HIKO SEIJURO! Man, every single teaching of his is etched on to my soul (his Seiyuu really adds to the effect). The words he said to Kenshin... man. It was a blessing that Kaoru/Yahiko showed up when they did too, since they convinced him to train Kenshin in the end. It's time to learn the Kuzu Ryu Sen/Ama Kakeru Ryu No Hirameki! Also, lmfao at the reactions when the ages of Kenshin/Hiko were brought up again lol, that never gets old.

Also, if that wasn't enough, Aoshi Shinamori moves too! Looks like Misao is finally going to be told the truth... hang in there.

Fuck, Yahiko is such a brat. Kenshin clearly had respect for the Oniwaban and part of the reason they died was to help him, yet Yahiko still has to be a little fuck off. Urrrrggghhhh, and there's not even an ounce of respect towards Aoshi's motives. Maybe they don't like his goal, but at least there's some honor in the man.

It's really weird seeing Kenshin and Seijuro now after watching the Trust & Betrayal OVA, and not in a good way. The depiction of Kenshin leaving Seijuro to participate in the revolution was much, much more moving in the OVA for sure. I much preferred the voice acting as well... Kenshin sounded too young and bratty - not him at all. But I AM watching this dubbed, I guess.

You know what, I actually didn't expected the old man to give them the place where Kenshin had gone. I thought he would have gave them a false address.

Yahiko, you talk too much! You made it seem like Kenshin was responsible of the Oniwaban Shu death!

So Aoshi literally have come to the point of betraying the Oniwaban Shu in order to defeat Kenshin? Isn't that totally against his resolution, you know, to avenge his Oniwaban Shu friend that died while facing the machine gun dude? Yooooo, that's a pretty hardcore 180° turn.

Man, it irks me when Kaoru just stands there with that stupid sad expression, it's like say SOMETHING! Anything!! Stupid Yahiko, lol, the Oniwaban group was GOOD in the end. Don't act like they were dirt. But finally, Misao gets to learn what happened...

Yahiko is such a brat, really disliked him this episode. Ugh. If it wasn't for Misao you wouldn't be seeing your hero Kenshin.... I feel bad for Misao, sad episode for her :(

IIRC, 3 of my favorite OSTs in this ep. Always a huge fan of RK‘s OST.
Misao & Yahiko's reactions to Kenshin's master's age and young look, they really acted in unison, lol.
Kenshin always kept active in housework when he's at Kaoru's, but he didn't even want to fetch water for his master. Interesting~
Seijuro's words revealed some of Kenshin's background. He was a brat with a high ideal & flawless swordsmanship which backfired on him because of his naivity and short of experience. Really love the depth of the show.

Dayum, didn't expect to see Shuichi Ikeda, the legendary Red Comet's VA, in this series. This is getting good!

I wonder if he made Kenshin get the same hairstyle like it's a fundamental part of Hiten Mitsurugi.

Seeing the way the old guy was called a pervert when he was told that a 'woman' had come to bring him a letter, and then we see that 'woman' and she looks like a literal child really made me sick thinking about the fact that the author was in possession of cp.
...At least let me finish.

Wow. Misao and Yahiko were incrediblly annoying on their own, but those scenes of them together were near unbearable.

Good thing Kaoru has a clear head since Yahiko had to revert to his naive idiocy at the end. It was only typical that Misao would learn about the Oniwaban group's fate in Tokyo this way when the others kept it from her. Hopefully Kaoru is able to tell the harsh story in a tactful manner so as not to result in any misplaced anger. Seems Aoshi is going to do something reckless. Hope Misao is able to reach Gramps before anything bad happens to him :S
