Marmalade Boy. I want to finish Fruits Basket but I don't really like the pairings, I think Yuki should be with Tohru but I still want to finish it anyway. ^_^

Sakura Card Captor, but two or three years ago I gave the entire collection to my cousin. But by those times I didn't know what 'manga' is, I just had watched the anime on TV and liked it, and then I bought the manga when I found it in a library :P

My first finished was Saint Tail, only because it was shorter than the other series I was reading.

I've Been Watching Anime for 20 years now. Can you beat that?

GTO or RurKen
Both two of my all time favorite series (manga and anime versions)
There may have been one or two smaller ones, but I'm pretty sure those were the first two (or at least in the first 4....)

Rurouni Kenshin the Jinchuu Arc

i read manga scans of the first 5 or 6 chapters but after that it was all script text b/c the manga had become licensed and no1 was ballzy enough to put it on the internet at a findable link. this was 5 years ago, so it wasnt like i could go buy the jinchuu arc they had only released the first few volumes of the manga in english translation

i'm really not that big into manga, just read in when the anime doesnt come close to being concluded

Ranma 1/2, I was really addicted to it
Might have been Dragonball as well, but since I didn't read most of the beginning, that doesn't count as actually 'finishing' it

It was either Dragonball or Sailor Moon I don't quite remember it. The funny thing was, that I lend all volumes of these two series at our local lybrary, 'cause Manga weren't really popular at that time here in Germany.

Rurouni Kenshin. I had already watched the anime and one day I was walking around a store and found a Rurouni Kenshin book (I didn't know what manga was back then). I started reading it and the next day I went back to the store to buy it.

I would have to say Berserk was one of my first manga's mainly because the anime was one of the first animes I seen and was curious how it continued. Then I became addicted to Pet Shop of Horrors which is one of my favorite mangas. I then learned of a Batman manga that I got my hands on being the huge Batman fan I am... and loved it. So those are my starting mangas.

The first manga I finished? Love Hina, when I was in college (a freshman, I think). Then I went on a CLAMP spree and read Wish, Miyuki-chan, Suki, and Chobits.

Death Note was probably my first. few years ago I went to the manga section of a private tracker I use and just chose a random one to try.

after that most of the manga I read is of anime series I really liked (Berserk, GTO) since they continued the story.

I need to read more manga actually :F

I would hate buying manga though since it doesn't take too long to read a volume usually.

and with this post my post count has increased, making me 1 post cooler than before

Death Note. It drew me in to the very end. I started Berserk first to continue what the anime never finished, but damn is that a long manga series or what?
