There has been talk of a second season of the Claymore anime. The author of the series, Norihiro Yagi, made a website to find out if there is a large enough number of fans to convince the TV station for a second season. Being the avid fan of both the anime and manga that I was, I wanted to inform more people that haven't heard of this opportunity. The goal is to reach 10,000 votes by March 31, 2010. The following is a step by step guide (full pictures as the source site is spanish and the actually website to vote on is in japanese). Source link: http://phantomstudio.wordpress.com/2009/12/17/claymore-segunda-temporada/ They have the same pictures (not in order though) on the source page, so you can see that this is legit and not some scam on my part or anyone else. link to fill out information: http://www.shomei.tv/project-752.html Guide Part 1: http://i38.tinypic.com/2usz6vk.jpg Guide Part 2: http://i36.tinypic.com/mmvq7n.jpg If you have any questions or concerns, I'll do my best in answering them (keep in mind that I'm not fluent in Japanese). |

Really ?? Off to vote now :D But that's gonna be hard for Yagi to create a 2nd season judging by season 1 ended. I'm pretty sure absolutly every single claymore fans would like season 2 to follow the manga's story. But how will he do it? You guys know how season 1 ended, but in the manga Raki and Clare didn't reunite and the story continued with "The survivors of the War in the North". So yeah, that's gonna be tricky... i'm thinking even impossible to find a way to bring the anime back to the manga version. Please Yagi, make it follow the manga or make it better. If it's gonna be average or weaker then don't bother. |

I already asked in the other thread how people believe the second season would get back to the original story and the responses were "Pretend the ending of the 1st season didn't happen" and "There will be no 2nd season". I've been aware of this for some time and I have already voted so despite what other people might think, I'm very optimistic. I wouldn't mind if they decided to show the Battle in the North again, at least that way they could continue the story without any tricks. I mean, I certainly can't think of a way to get the story back on track from where it ended. |

I'm not very optimistic but i still voted just in case this is 100% legit. Sacrificing 5min of my life for a possibility of a 2nd season is a good enough bargain for me :D It would be weird showing the battle in the North again or making it seems as it never happened. Claymore anime ending! Don't open if you haven't finished it yet. This season 2 will turn out to be or a masterpiece or a disaster. Anything in between is 150% unlikely Modified by Kaysabb, 03-11-10, 4:07 AM |

I agree that it would be incredibly difficult to write a 2nd season if he didn't "redo" the ending of the first season... especially since the manga goes into a completely different direction. At the very least, I think it would be interesting to see what will be done in a 2nd season. |

Even though I have been trying to hope for a season 2...... after all theyears trying to fight for it, i feel that its now... sorta impossible. 1) from what i have known the makers dropped the series 2) F.Y.I the story/ ending of anime s1 is different from manga ( 25,25 ) = false/ unralated to the true story (Manga) so.. yeah.... now.. im buying the manga :| but i still do hope that there would be a s2 :D |

I'd love to see a new Claymore season, or more accurately an alternative version. Something like FMA: Brotherhood is to FMA, because quite frankly I don't see how can they just pick up and start a new season with the way Claymore ended. But even if they make a new season, I have another concern. There is only 100 + chapters. I fear that this isn't enough material and that they will just make up another ending as well to round up a show. |

If a new anime is ever made it should be remade from the start like FMA:Brotherhood did. I also agree that we should hope for a new anime but not right now. I personally hope they will make a new anime in five years or something. Because they will be a lot of material and maybe even a real ending so the anime won't have another stupid ending. |

Perhaps they could do like has been done with Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate? They could release two 1-hour OVA's a year and keep us satisfied like that. I also agree that if they are making a 2nd season, they should wait until the manga's finished to avoid such a massive fail that occurred with current Claymore anime. |

saka said: do want. voted. hope it's legit. might need to change the beatdown graphic on the club page :D I am sorry to disappoint you, but this was posted by a fan. Who is in no way associated with the producers. But this petition however has accomplished something, I herd from onemanga, that the manga artist was so pleased that alot of people signed the petition for a second season (forgot the anime), that they did a special OVA. |

I think that if they are not planning to remake the first season, which I would totally be up for, they should remake the battle of the north into 1-2 OVAs, following the kickass manga plot, and then continue the story in the second season. For those of us who haven't already, we can go ahead and ctrl+z the original anime ending. |

I'm sure he would love to make them both.... whether the studios will want to pick it up or not is the question. My magic eight ball says "Please try again later". |

They could always redo it like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Dragon Ball Kai, Golgo 13 and Space Adventure Cobra. |
