I watched this a long time ago and decided to watch the whole series again (and bought the dvds to do so) before the 2nd season starts. I loved the series the first time but was worried it wouldn't be good on the 2nd viewing. But after seeing this first episode again - it is seriously awesome. I have a smile on my face the whole episode. Its just so happy, and funny, and Inami is ridiculously cute!
lol the manager kicked one of her costumers asses because they called her an old hag. xD
I wonder why one of them is carrying a katana?
Inami has a fear of men, but it looked like the manager made a mistake and have her and Takanashi work together. Hmm I wonder how she treats male costumers or does she have someone else take their orders for her?
Takanashi, Jun, and Hiroomi are sexy and the manager is awesome.
I just saw a review of this in a magazine and thought I would give it a look. Turns out it really does appeal to me, it's pretty funny and already gave me a few laugh out loud moments. I already love the characters... not sure who my favorite is yet but right off the bat a girl afraid of men does sound entertaining.
Your mean should be an even bell curve only if you watch every show that comes out. Having a high-slung mean doesn't mean you're rating improperly. It can also mean you're selecting shows well to watch mostly things you enjoy.
"Urushibara Ruka. The mannerisms and voice of a woman... No... More feminine than any woman. But he's a guy. Taller than Mayuri, but so very thin... But he's a guy. Looks great in a miko outfit... But he's a guy. It's already twilight And yet, it's so hot. The cicadas are crying. But... He's a guy."
That was pretty good. I'm liking the chill atmosphere of the show and it's never a dull moment. I kind of got annoyed by the "she looks like a kid!" joke and I have a bad feeling about Inami character. If her attitude doesn't change, I might get irritated by her. :/
Really good voice cast though. Damn! Kamiyan, Fukujun and OnoD in one show.
The manager is so incompetent, how did she even get hired? Or maybe she runs the place, that probably makes more sense. How can a girl with androphobia work in an environment where she needs to serve possible males in the restaurant? Aren't there also males working in the kitchen as well? Did she punch her dad, is her dad alive? I want answers to these questions.
Loved it, but I wish Takanashi-kun would just call Taneshima-chan by her name instead of senpai all the time lol idk that's just me it gets kinda annoying, i know its for respect but just call her by her name
Start really roaring for a TV series view many years ago, but it still manages to make me laugh with his genuine humor and characters with very nice. The story is not so original, but the context in which they move the protagonists it is giving a freshness to the whole narrative. The technical side is formidable and not out of breath to possible criticism of the study of Animation A1 Pictures. Very beautiful and exciting future opening.
