Sawashiro Miyuki and Ono Daisuke definitely deserve these awards. Both of damn has one of the most versatile voices I've seen. I'm loving Durarara so much for having both of those seiyuus, Shizuo and Celty~~ <3 <3 <3
Lol '17 years old' team Inoue and Horei both getting award. Too original seiyuus.
And, wtf is those K-on faggotry for the best singers?... >_>
Yeah, she deserves it. Cannan and Lag Seeing are pretty much opposites of each other, and that just shows how versatile she is. This is from a VA who first made her name as Petite Charat/Puchiko (another completely different character type) in Di Gi Charat as well.
YAAAY ONO DAISUKE FINALLY WON!!!!!!! :D
I'm so happy he's finally gaining more and more recognition since his Koizumi days... hell, I remember when I added him to MAL database in 2007 because I wanted to add him to my favorite people list and he wasn't in it!! haha sure got a lot more fans since, I'm so thrilled =D
And yay Saiga winning the overseas award!!! (tho I voted for OnoD lol) she's also one of my top fave :)
I wonder if it could be more obvious the fact that some seiyuu agencies get far more attention than others. Not that I mind, the winners are part of my favorites, and 2009 was Daisuke Ono's year, but I want to see some new faces sometime.
Onosaka Masaya winning personality was both hilarious and awesome. He's truly the king of weird radio shows.
OMG FINALLY-- Japan proves it has taste! This is honestly a long time coming and the woman deserves it more than any other seiyuu out on the field right now. Her voice is incredible and she's flexible for any role (rough, playful, exuberant, refined-- you name it, she does it). She even plays guys believably.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand these awards lost all credibility.
Why not? They were the probably the only group of seiyuu who did the most music work this year, having to sing dozens of character albums, pumping out two of the biggest anime theme songs of all time (not to mention, both of them got tons of airplay), and also performed within the anime as well through their characters.
I can see why they got those awards. Toyosaki Aki and Hikasa Yoko at least deserve them entirely.
