Neko-mimi-modo!

Great episode, refreshing stuff. Was well mixed with comedy and creepy stuff and almost everything that happened was explained. Hoping for some more action in the next episode.

It started good and ended pretty interesting. The Rest was pretty much -off, but I guess it was a decent episode.

I like this new guy, the detective (didn't catch his name). I wonder if he'll be around longer than just this arc.

I didn't really like the switch to a more comedic tone in this episode. It looks like it will continue onto the next episode so I'll see where it goes from there.

It wsa a meh episode. A few laughs here and there like the screenshot above but other than that it was kinda boring.

this episode took a 'lighter' tone,still prefer if they stayed in a serious tone.

I thought it was an awesome episode. Mao is awesome, so I'm glad this arc features more of him.

I'm hoping the dead body was a skeleton because it was eaten by the cat. That'd be awesome >:

Yeah.. Kind of randomly lighter.. I liked that it was kick ass before.. I thought the contrast between the previous episodes and that one were a bit too much, but still a 4/5.

I need more Kei HEI kicking ass too!!! (too funny a typo to completely delete)

I'd have to agree, it was a decent episode. However, I didn't like the randomness of throwing the detective in there. If 7 & 8 though are used to provide more background behind some of the characters, then I guess it will be good.

With 25 episodes (not confirmed, actually AniDB and ANN list that number so I might as well go and edit the anime info) it should be okay to have a bit of randomness. :)

i personally loved this episode...it was a great change of pace from previous ones...kurasawa reminds me of zenigata from lupin the third while the scene showing hei eating with like 10 empty ramen bowls reminded me of naruto...i mean, just the ear waxing scene deserves a 10/10...xD...i can understand why people hated this ep though...the change was a bit too drastic...

this ep also explains why mao is a talking cat and the body swapping ability is very interesting...looking forward to the next episode since the ending to this one was kind of a cliffhanger...

Just saw the ep, and I thought it was awesome. They should give that detective his own show :P Glad they threw some comedy in the series, was a nice change in pace.

^I agree. The anime/cosplay thing with the girl is funny. And the detective is scared of cats. *lol*

Anyways, did anyone notice the girls hair curl into a heart when she was checking out Hei at resturant? That was total awsomeness. I also liked the baseball game that was on tv in the resturant. *lol*

I also liked the creepy maid. She seemed suspicious.

Well... that's the most colorful episode I've seen in a while o_O

That was a bit disturbing... but the episode was a kinda break from all the intense stuff... but it was kinda so so.... I'd give it a 3-ish >.>

Meh. I like the pinked haired girl, surprisingly. Normally hyper pink haired anime girls are super annoying. ^^; It was an amusing ep, but I think I like the darker episodes better, personally. This comedic one came out of nowhere! O.o Although the beginning and ending were interesting enough.

Okay, that was an awkward shift in tone for the series, and I really don't think it worked well. For a little while I was thinking I was accidentally watching some other show. On the bright side, at least there's more of Mao in this episode (Hei seems to hog the limelight most of the time, I'd like to know more about his teammates).
