Oooo this episode was nice, liked it way more than the last 6 - it was different, had a refreshing feel to it. Looking forward to seeing how this part of the story plays out.

I found this episode to be a bit conflicting. The actual plot and mystery of the episode and the arc so far seems the weakest of the few arcs so far that have released up till this point, but I enjoyed the comedy that this episode offered with the detective and his female assistant, making it one of the more entertaining episodes released so far (especially the dub version). The ability of body jumping is a pretty good one I have to say for a villainous character or a desperate one.

Detective investigation.

I am suspecting they made this episode lighthearted to make up for the other episodes.

I think this is just gonna be another filler.

So body snatcher dumps the bodies in the ex-wife's home ig.

Without change,we end up becoming the very person we hate.

I was dead until the moment I met you. I was a powerless corpse pretending to be alive. Living without power, without the ability to change my course, was bound to lead me to a slow death.

well that was unexpectedly comedic. felt like a completely different show. honestly, i liked the humour but i probably would've preferred it to be a little more neo-noir like the rest of the series

it actually reminded me of - and the title is purely coincidental haha - the anime Black Cat. the detective reminded me of Sven, a lot

as for the talking black cat in DtB, it's a body jumper? No kidding. dope. we've learned a little more about this world. I wonder who the real body belongs to...

but the first wife is dead, eh? I wonder who killed her. the body jumper murderer, trying to get her perfume? I wonder what's up with all the trash...

still absolutely loving this show

What's Violet from Violet Evergarden doing here. But damn, that ending, gave me chills. Things are still slow but at least we've learnt a couple of things about that cat who seems to be the leader of Hei's organization (or group). Hoping this detective guy won't die, I like him.
Come on man, where is that Noragami season 3 masterpiece. We want it, Bones!

it felt like a semi-filler episode for me

this episode reflects in me why I am not connecting with the show. Here we have a dumb-pathetic loli-ish character telling her boss things like "those kinds of discriminative remarks aren't politically correct these days" and other such rubish remarks are made by her, all the while she says/do things that are 100% worst than anything her boss says or does.

Her double standards are so painfully obvious to all except to herself, she's annoying, patronising beyond words, and yet her boss takes it like the excellent beta male that he is and the beta male "they" want all of us to become.
Me every time I hear the word "reparations": 🤣🤣🤣

Ah, the comic relief episode. Hopefully they don't kill off these two at the detective agency. Also, Li turns up everywhere, I'm impressed.

That was the best episode so far, can we keep that detective as main character? :3
