| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Meiren sure come and go pretty quick, I guess it doesn't really matter as long as she's not Akira's enemy. The second half was pretty entertaining, glad to see Akira and Mina getting some assistance instead of having to fight against the enemy by themselves :D It's also nice to see Akira in his true form during the explosion :D |

I guess the ED was a better than the other one. There's some animation. Finally. I know it's hard for Shaft to actually make things move, but the old ED was pretty crappy. But this one's pretty good. |

| hmmmm so they're still following the manga somewhat. There is a very good reason for the vampires exploding from the phonecall but you'll see that later. Also that kid nanami went after is a BOY. hmmm something tells me Meiren will take the role a newly introduced character in the manga has. |

| Huh so they spent the extra week doing a new ED. At least it's better than whatever it was in the previous one. Unfortunately for them, the animation in the episode seemed even more sloppy. Hmmm still trying to figure out Meiran's role in this. She needs a good role if she wants to play a significant filler character. | I didn't watched the episode yet, but I saw the screens and I'm reconized most of them from the manga, this is good, maybe the series still not dead yet for me.^^ But I don't get it, this wasn't supposed to be a recap? I didn't even planned to watch it, and now I'll for sure. From what I understood, the first part was a recap and second was some kind of a "prologue" to the next arc? Is that right? |

| Those "wolfboys" looked like they could be some group from another anime. I enjoyed this episode much more than the last episode...at least in terms of continuity. |
| I just quickly watched this episode and it was AWESOME!! To my surprise, the episode was almost ripped out of the manga, they didn't censored the battle scenes with still screens and even kept the dialogues and scenes most closer to the manga than never. Now I'm happy again, at least for a while. Also, I loved the new ending, it was totally manga related, even Mina's hair and her true form was identical. SHAFT trolling around, maybe? o/ Oh, now I see, I messed up everything here, thanks for the info ^^ |

| Great episode, kinda sad that there are only 4 left. As for the censoring, I would rather have them do that glare/black out censoring like in Princess Lover than this complete screen block flash scenes they are doing here. |

| So SHAFT needed 8 weeks to do an actual ED for this show? They could have well kept it for the BD. Oh well, it looked awesome, though. And I knew something was odd about the OP, the lyrics didn't match with what I am used to hearing. I love how Nozumu Tamaki keeps appearing in his own creation. Story is getting to the good part now, show is still getting better IMO. |

| I enjoyed this episode and I feel they are getting on track with it. Ever since episode 6 or so it's been really getting good. Episode 7 was amazing and so was 8, I think Shaft needed some time to work out the kinks in their adaptation and now they're finally on track...quite a few episodes late. |

Agree 100% with above statement ^^ (^.-) If you overlook that it felt like watching the entire episode on speed (damn there was allot of scene jumping) it was an surprisingly good episode, or rather a bit better than what we've seen so far and if you consider it's an SHAFT product... but still decent. As for the finally finished ED, I won't even get started xD |
| Unimpressive show + needless censorship + late ED animation + a bit of QUALITY here and there = still unimpressive. I don't even know why I picked this up. Can't imagine why someone would watch this AGAIN on DVD. Ah well, only 4 more eps. |

Good episode that wasn't great due to lack of quality animation. This was the first shot of Akira that wasn't a flashback. I was actually astounded I was watching the right show. |

| It was a good episode but it just felt a little bit to rushed for me. I dunno but it botherd me, and like always, so did the animation. Anyways, I like the new ED. |
