As the title says, what's your favorite sub group, and why?

Until recently, I've loved gg as my Baka sub group. They're mostly on time, and I've never saw any (real) problems with their translations. However, with their indefinite delay of episode 8 "until he gets some boiling bloods", I've started to lose faith over them.

Mochi >>>>>>>>>>>>>> gg

And yes, I've tried both.

I see that Mochi does have a better rating than gg. However, aren't they a little...behind?

Considering that gg (on episode 7 ) is already behind themselves and still delaying, Mochi's only on episode 6.

Yes, they are behind. But quality takes time, you know? ;)

I really don't know my sub groups but I know that one of them put unnecessary curse words in it. Which one is the best one actually?

I know that gg puts curse words in Baka, but I don't know whether they're necessary or not. The curse words do seem to come in at the right moods, though.

When it comes to sub groups nowadays, it seems that most shows have at least one "speedsub" group and one "quality" group working on them.

Which group you prefer depends on personal preference. If you can't wait for the new episodes each week and need to watch them NOW, then "speedsub" groups will be the ones you get.

But if you're like me and can wait for a "quality" group to put a little more time and effort into translating and otherwise "prettyfying" the show, then those are the groups you'll prefer. Plus, I always inherently fall behind on new shows, anyway, so I might as well get their releases anyway ;)

"Best" is a very subjective term, and which group you think is "best" ultimately boils down to which kind of watcher you are.

I love gg, but one of their translators left (I think) so they are at a standstill. gg has always been the first to sub it, though, and I hope they can resolve their problems soon.

in speed wise gg is win how ever the accuracy of the translation is actually far more accurate on Mochi's version.

I have not yet seen Mochi, but gg is ugly for this one.

I'm on episode 4 and I can't take it anymore, I'm deleting all of this and redownloading one subbed by Mochi.

I've noticed quite a few "bad" subs already in the previous episodes, but when they translate "Onee-sama" into "Sissy".... that's when I eat Himeji-san's bento and go through the gate.

EDIT: and.... I'm having trouble looking for Mochi subs for this... /sigh this sucks = =
EDIT#2: Nevermind, found it~ if anyone's interested

I think I'm watching the gg one with curse words, it sucks.
