First half felt like a sudden change in genre. Some references like the Geass were too obvious.
Shoukanjuu battles! And not too few, thanks to a defect battle system. Loved what Himeji and Shimada's Shoukanjuu did with Yoshii's xD

Great stuff, want more of it.

Other than that many references I will try to get guess but those with ? please help to identify if you can all.....it helps to understand and all have helped me a great deal to understand so let's continue the good work. Apart from that it was a great episode with the other elements like Shouko torture on Yuuji and Tsuchiya/Yoshii combos. I do think some elements are repetitive but they are still funny regardless. So let's start the guess game: What the heck is that expression=>MGS?=>Obvious Code Geass?=> Minami I want it pose on Yoshii?=> Has to do with Evangelion anime?=>Darkstalkers as in Morrigan/Lilith?=> Hideyoshi red riding hood?=> Yayoi fan service?=> Bomber man?=> Nintendo power glove?=>

Overall too much spoilers but let's have fun with them.

Yeah me too it makes me on the :( at least most of us got our amazing Summon battle episode which is this one. Hope there is a second season especially to know what happens with Yuuki x Shouko and Yoshii x (Himeji or Shimada). Oh yeah some GIFs I made....forgot to put them up for share: Some summon battle ones....some of them look not so good but the one of Himaji VS Yoshii is not bad=> One of Himeji is cute=> The inquisition is good one too=> You can grab any and host it using my link....no limits for I am member of that service.

This episode had way too many plot holes.
It was nice and all, but it felt pretty dumb.

Summoned being cannot exist if the owner is not inside the summon area, therefore instead of getting a 0 grade, all they had to do was exit school.

Also, Akihisa's bracelet was supposed to make a SMALL field, so how could he reach the computer room, if it was distant?

I would be able to point a few more, however i belive those i already pointed out were sufficient.

(There was a small portion of the episode that got corrupted, so i had to skip, however i doubt such plot holes were fixed in that small amount of time.)

Oh and btw, i can understand the Hideyoshi jokes, however the part with Mussolini and Yuuji was just way too wrong! =|

Next episode is about Shimada \o/

Then it would be boring within the episode if they did that.

Malfunction in the bracelet due to corrupted field? Maybe?
Ah thanks about that.....this will be interesting, especially if they tell how they met and how Shimada's sister became to call him the way she does.

Why would they rely on a defect bracelet to solve the problem of defect fields. They just made up some things, so that it fits. I didn't have a feeling the "plot holes" were a major problem, the entertainment was there for me.
But nearly everything of the episode was anime original stuff, the only fact that existed in the novels was a story with the malfunctioning field generator. Even all the parodies are things that never existed before.

This show does not do references well... disregarding the other things it doesn't do well.

If it took half the references from Evangelion, why not a mind fuck ending?!

Shittiest episode thus far.

Gunbuster? It's mecha stuff right? Is it superior to the Gundam series or even EVA?

Anyways, the Morrigan reference deserve this episode.
She is hot. :D

Did not make me laugh much but pretty entertaining episode.

Did not care with the references, I only knew few. Shouko was cute at the end, joining everybody with the supplementary lessons. I guess next episode would be interesting, judging from the title (Kiss, Bust and Ponytail). I hope for more Minami.
