According to The Sneaker magazine April 2010 issue, part of Suzumiya Haruhi light novel volume 10 "The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya" will be published in the next issue to be released on April 30th. The last volume "The Dissociation of Haruhi Suzumiya" was published on April 1st, 2007 and the volume 10 was first announced to be released in June 2007. However, the release has been repetitively postponed. At first I said "finally!" but now I realized Baka-Tsuki wont translate 10th volume because of licence issues.The only thing I will have is spoilers :(  |

I hope that someone other will translate it and that I can read it as soon as I can - but hey... it's good news - so maybe there will also be more of the anime soon .... if the Haruhi series is finished that is |

It's seriously about time. Hopefully releases of the rest of the volume will follow consistently. And hopefully someone other than B-T will provide us with a good translation. |

Indeed great news. We have been waiting not for the 10th volume, but to any news about it at all since for ever. I hope the volume is published soon after that. And for the translation I believe in the Haruhists out there, there'll be someone who will do it -I hope-. |

Fu** yes!! After three years, it's about time. Though I just finished volume 9 a few months back(a week before baka-tsuki lost it...), the wait has seemed so long! How could anyone end a novel that way? Volume 9 was completely unfinished... now we finally get it! I'm completely ecstatic!!!! And I believe that the book rights for Haruhi only apply to those that were already published, so the tenth book would need another transaction. However, if Baka-tsuki doesn't translate, there will be places that will... Yay, Book 10!!! It better be true!! |

Well, it's about time. Though, Haruhi is easily dying as a novel series. I'm pretty sure the author just doesn't care anymore. Oh well, I still say we won't see the end of the novel series till 2015 or so. To me, this just feels like it's supposed to be a 12 book series at the least. All of my FAL results so far. |
