There's Dr. Tokita from Paprika, Yutaka Takenouchi from Cromartie High School, Tetsugya form Giant Robo is a big guy but not necessarily a fat guy, but he also has a nice distinctive costume good for cosplaying, Rush from Oban Star Racers is also similar (yeah no pics, you'd have to watch part of the episode) Any of these prove useful? |

| Lewis from Blood+ is pretty solid. So is the title character from Porco Rosso, if your friend doesn't mind wearing a pig mask. Dragon Ball actually has a bunch of supporting characters that fit, including most memorably Mr. Popo. Rurouni Kenshin has [rul=http://myanimelist.net/character/19499/Iwanbou]Iwanbo[/url] as well as some sumo wrestlers (apparently ep 13). |

Also, it depends on what kind of reaction you're aiming for, you want to do something that will just straight up make people laugh? Or are you going hardcore serious and hope no one will laugh? It's just not going to be healthy for someone to do one thing and get a complete opposite reaction (serious but get laughed at or being funny but people are scared etc) good examples: bad examples: Long story short do whatever the hell you want but beware of the consequences of cosplaying in general. |
