| I have a few questions that I just now thought to ask. Before I do, I should clarify that about the beginning of the challenge, I listed what anime goes with what challenge before I did any actual watching, just so I could have a set list to work with instead of finding an anime for each challenge as I complete the list. First, on the 'recommended by MAL or Anime+', is it okay if I find the series I want to do beforehand, take a screenshot and link it, list it, add to plan to watch, and then wait until several months later (within the challenge's time, of course) to actually watch it? For example, I think it was in May when I saw Demi-chan wa Katari in my MAL recommended, so I added it to the list under that challenge, but I actual haven't watched it yet. Currently it's under my plan-to-watch list, so it wouldn't show up as recommended now, but it did then. Would it be okay if I started watching it now? Or does the start date and the day I'm recommended the anime by the site have to be relatively close? Okay, second, on the '10 or 9 from another challenger who posted on same page' challenge, if they leave before I can begin watching it, can I still watch it? The user who gave Death Parade a 9 for me left the challenge, but his post is still there, so that's why I'm wondering. Finally, and just to make absolute sure, since Ciel is 12, would Black Butler count as the 'main character 12 or under' challenge? Just trying to straighten everything out while I can, and if anyone wants to look at my list so far to see if there's any other possible issues, it's here. |

| @bigdud24 1. As long as you save a screenshot showing your username, it doesn't matter when you start watching it 2. As long as the user's post is there it doesn't matter 3. Kuroshitsuji no, since Ciel celebrates his 13 B-Day before half the episodes from the series From the post Update your start date to match the earliest listed anime remember to add the pattern 33. Watch a completed anime with a score of or above 8.00 --- add stats rest of the details seems in place ; only gave a quick view and not in details. It would be another matter to check if all the titles actually fit each criteria |

The latter, it just has to be a completed anime and have more plan to watch than completed before you start watching. So it can have aired this year. As @jyuushimatsu said, It has to be completed before you started watching it (and have valid stats). If you are planning on using an anime from this year I suggest you take a screenshot showing your status (like watching first episode). We have seen several cases already with a big gap between actual stats and those stated (which end being hard to confirm).... |

As stated under the Sign ups section of the first post of the thread "The anime you choose to use for the challenge must be watched in its entirety during the challenge period." Meaning that all anime used for the challenge must be watched during the challenge period: from January 01, 2017 to December 24, 2017. We can allow the use of airings ONLY if the anime finish during the last week of December (Dec. 25th to Dec. 31st) and such date is specified in the entry. Anime that continues airing in 2018 won't be allowed and thus will be marked as invalid. For us to allow an airing anime: - the user MUST be caught up to the latest released episode (available online at least subbed) when turning in - it must be an anime that started airing before December - the user will need to wait till the last week to turn in (Dec. 18th - Dec. 24th) - the user can only have at most 2 airing titles in their form - their finish date will be added as Dec 24 or latter if they had to fix something within their form ....... in short, it's a pain so please avoid using airings if possible. |
