I actually only listen to Amon Amarth... and I love it :D
So I guess I'm still here on the right place?

Greeting.

Insomnium
- Low pitched death metal growls, long instrumental, extremely melodic with some really catchy songs.

Ensiferum
- Great guitar riffs and folk instruments adding a lot of flavor and atmosphere, combination of high pitched screams and low pitched growls.

Dark Tranquillity (discography)
- Pioneers of the Gothenburg sound, one of the originators of the Gothenburg sound and one of the best bands in melodeth genre.

In Flames ( Colony, Whoracle )
- Back in 90an, they are my fav. band.

Amon Amarth
- My fav. Viking themed melodic death band.

Be'Lakor
- The one and only my fav. Australian melodeth band. I like how they describes their music "…aggressive vocals underpinned by dark atmospheres inflections and resonant harmonies".

Kalmah and Eternal Tears Of Sorrow.
- 3 of ETOS' members are also playing in Finish melodic death metal band - Kalmah. As long the music is melodic and metal, I listen.

Wintersun
- I like Ensiferum. I like Jari Maenpaa musicianship. I like Wintersun.

At The Gates
- I bet you must have their Slaughter of the Soul album right ?

Arch Enemy
- I like Angela Gossow vocal and Amott brothers guitar combo. Arch Enemy is a great band too.

Dissection ( Reinkaoz )
- I'm not into MLO cult, but I do like the Reinkaoz album. Gothenburg sound at it finest.

There lots of good melodeth band out there, I know... I just named a few dat I like... It's good to know there people who watch anime but listen to melodic death metal genre like I do...

I say they're closer to death metal too. It's hard to call them a melodic death metal band since most bands in the genre usually have nothing to do with death metal (besides the vocal). Not that I have a problem with it. I like both standard and melodic.

Intestine Baalism is more like... death metal with melody, which is what Dismember is.

Agreed, but Dismember is more death metal imo.

My faves are probably Soilwork and Scar Symmetry, but In Flames and Dark Tranquility are okay too.

all time fav is inflames(in luv w/ em since was 10 or 11 lolz) and arch enemy
does metalcore count too?
coz i rly luv killswitch engage and as i lay dying and sonic syndicate
and nowadays i killed the prom queen though theyre not that great
