According to the official twitter, Fuji TV's timeslot noitaminA will soon run for a whole hour, showing two series per season instead of the previous single one. This renewal of the timeslot coincides with the recent announcements of numerous noitaminA series - Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, the live-action version of Moyashimon, Saraiya Goyou, and Shiki which has just been confirmed as a noitaminA series. Yamamoto Koji, the chief editor of noitaminA, disclosed in his twitter that Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei and Saraiya Goyou will be aired together from this April. A lot of interesting anime run during this timeslot, so this can only be good news. |

Looking forward to Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei.. noitaminA's slot was solely created for airing 'original' shows, right? (ex. Soranowoto?) ![]() |

A lot of the noitaminA anime are adaptations of manga, novels etc., including the first one to air in the timeslot. (Honey & Clover) NoitaminA was created to show anime that are different to the types of anime your typical Otaku would watch. |

Japanese major tv timeslots are extremely expensive and hard to get right? This is some pretty good news. Earth gets angry after a kick in the face. |

Nah, that's the Anime no Chikara timeslot, which is where Sora no Woto is airing. Otherwise, YEESSS!!! This is epic news. This timeslot keeps producing quality and this will only mean more great Noitamina anime |

Well, latest noitaminA shows (Higashi no Eden, Tokyo Magnitude, Trapeze) didn't impress me as much as older shows aired in this timeslot (Honey & Clover, Hataraki Man, first season of Nodame Cantabile etc). I have some hopes for Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei though, not much for Saraiya Goyou. |

Kuuchuu Buranko and Nodame Cantabile Finale have been getting the worst ratings since the timeslot's creation... hence the decision of a renewal, I'd guess. Now I want to find out whether the new 30 minutes will be added before or after the current slot. This should show how much faith Fuji TV still places in anime & the timeslot. I remembered there was something special about NoitaminA, thanks for clearing it up. It's the "Animechikara" block on TV Tokyo that's specifically created for anime original stories. So ra no o to is the first show in that block. |

Fantastic news! I like a good amount of noitaminA shows so this is great to hear. I hope someone subs the LA Moyasimon; I really want to see it. |

Now we'll get two potentially awesome series a season instead of just one? That's pretty great to hear. Hopefully Toei continues to contribute to it and the extra slot space gives some more non-mainstream directors a chance to shine. |

Sweet. Twice as much noitaminA anime every season. I approve. The new decade does seem to be bringing some positive change after all. |

Two noitaminA series a season... oh my god, that's awesome. My first novel, Kardia has been published! Click here to read! Every time you recommend Sword Art Online, a baby seal gets clubbed. |
