| My group and I were starting Baccano! and we needed another new show. We looked at the new releases and it was the only real option. So glad we started watching it, only 4 eps in and it has been quite good. |

| wow , nice question. I was randomly browsing. and then found the news about Durarara!! will be getting anime. (thanks to #ANN) Cih, Durarara!! stupid title. But wait, It written that it was Ryohgo Narita's work, it reminds me of aweseome anime BACCANO! so why I giv it a try? and browsing more, and found that this DRRR!! is one of the winter 2010 lineup. since then I rooting and waiting for this anime. :) lol. Still first came to ANN about the announcement. |
| I just went to Animesuki to see which shows had the most seeders for the new anime season. Turned out they were BakaTest and Durarara. The rest was history :P |
| As a fan of Hiroshi Kamiya's work, I had my eye on this series back when the Winter '10 list was posted. Thankfully, I made a great choice with this one |
| As usual, a friend of mine runs up one day and yells "HEY (insertnamehere) I'M WATCHING THIS NEW ANIME SERIES CALLED DURARARA" and another yells "IT'S MADE BY THE PEOPLE THAT MADE BAKKANO" and the first one yells to me again "YOU SHOULD WATCH IT TOO". This was followed by a hysterically twisted-up version of plot explanation. I watched the first episode that night and was blown away by the fact that I hadn't seen an anime that made me think "THIS IS AMAZING" and "WHAT THE HELL AM I WATCHING?" at the same time since I watched Ga Rei -Zero- a year ago, therefore I was hooked. The fact that it was new - only one episode out at the time - also attracted me, since I like being up-to-date with the peeps in Japan as much as I can. Normally I don't watch such serious-looking anime though - I tend to stick to lighter ones (that tend to be yuri-prone); the most recent one since this was D.Gray-man, and I haven't really wathed it since it ended in Japan last year. I'm glad to have found it. It makes me look forward to the weekend even more. ;D |
| Like a lot of people, I knew that this was made by Ryohgo Narita, who made Baccano!. So far, it hasn't disappointed. It lives up to almost everything I loved about Baccano, sans the fantastic prohibition-era styling and atmosphere. |
| From the Winter Season list, this one seemed one of the few ones worth watching. Some other peepz got to tell me to watch it all the time. I don't watch much anime of lately so I marathoned it from episode 6. |

| i actually started this before Baccano!, but both are among my favorites. I saw in the line-up for Winter 2010 and was sorta interested, and saw that forum about the shows most anticipated in Japan and was intrigued. |

| Well, I had heard about it for a while, but I didn't give much thought about it. I thought the art was unique, but I didn't know anything about the story or chararacters. Not to mention, I had thought it was "Duradura!!" for the longest time. >.< But then a couple of weeks back, my friend Mihiko told me to watch it. I did. | I saw tons of gorgeous icons over @ LiveJournal of DRRR!! and some dude in a bartender outfit repetitvely ( oh hi, shizuo), so I decided to read some of the manga, but I had no idea what was going on and slightly bored, so 2 weeks later, this amazing Shizzy/Izzy AMV starting playing on someone's yt!page, and mind-blowned, I decided to watch the anime. BEST . DESICION. EVER!! I'm downloading every freakin' episode. |

| I was watching Darker Than BLACK and in some episode they were advertising DRRR, so I immediately added it to Plan to watch and then waited for the series to be aired. and it was in place of Darker Than BLACK, I mean the time of airing, when DTB2 finished airing. And now even it's the same group fansubbing it :D |

| I like to be in the know of new anime series in order to give them the chance, yet I'll only give it a chance if it sounds interesting. I got into Durarara by reading the synthosis, watched the first episode, though it was OK, yet fell in love with the series during episode two, when Shizuo threw the vending machein at Izaya, then got caught in a brawl. Funny stuff. ;) |
