It's early in the series, and I already love Haruhi-- her bossy nature and crazy ideas-- I laughed out loud several times! I didn't like the ending though, it left me hanging in not a good way and I can't watch the next one till tomorrow. *sniff*
I have the feeling as the characters develop, it will just keep getting better.

yeah but the problem is finding the right episodes to watch since they have several orders you can watch them in >.<

i like that one because its the one where koisumi first comes in^^

Agreed. I'm watching the DVD version - this episode for me was the one where Haruhi gets bunny suits to hand out flyers and also stages a sexual harassment of Mikura in the computer club. I laughed so hard at that part.

I thought that Haruhi would probably drive me crazy... and I was right, she grates at my soul. But still, I'm enjoying it and I get the feeling that the show is going to get better from here

I don't mind watching it in order (which is out of order to the other Otakus XD), I still get it.....so far....

For me this was the episode were that esper guy comes in and says Haruhi is a God.

Wow so for me Haruhi just blackmailed the computer guys and dropped the f-bomb. Totally hilarious and unexpected. That girl is crazy!

Arg, someone care to explain what's with all the "for me this episode was..."? What's with the order of the episodes?

To me, Episode 3 (Episode 2 on the U.S. DVD) is "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 2." It's the one with the computer club and the bunny suits. So hilarious. It closes with Yuki serving Kyon excessive amounts of green tea.



The original Japanese broadcast order was different than the chronological order of the plot. In the original broadcast episode 4 from the DVD ( "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 4") was shown as episode 10, for example. And episode 3 from the DVD ("The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part 3") was shown as episode 5 (after "The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya"), therefore the continuity of the conversation between Yuki and Kyon that I mentioned above, was originally interupted by the baseball game episode.
