So Gatenmaru's bro is in this episode. For those of you who remember, Gatenmaru appeared in that episode where Inuyasha first killed human bandits.

It was a momentous episode to be sure. This episode was also memorable in it's own way as it showed the fears of everyone in the group.

Actually, Garamaru didn't want revenge. He said that his brother got what was coming to him (or something like that).

This episode kinda felt like a recap... A clever recap, but it still didn't bring much new, in fact, it simply brew the old.

I laughed at the end. He really did asked for it, so he can't complain :P

This is where I go against the curve...I LOVED this episode. It was one of the best throughout. The premise was very interesting and cool, and alone would've been enough to make it a goodie. But what really sells it was that it was intense and emotional as hell from start-to-finish. A few unnessecary flashbacks but otherwise it hit everything it was going for, delivering one of the most intense episodes of the entire show. The end was funny too. The only episodes I think were better than this are "Showdown at Naraku's Castle" and "The Soul Piper and the Mischevious Little Soul".

Most of the nightmares are related to their past, quite sad

"Tell me ...to sit" He has embraced it

Inuyasha wants Kagome to tell him to sit?! haha.

I felt like this episode was a bit weak.

too bad for ep100 to be filler and weak, it still was very touching though.

i also find inuyasha to be out of his character, to be this cliche?

I sort of expect there to be an arc where stuff from that world leaks and everyone in Kagome's world just sees it and goes 'wow.' That happens all the time in anime, the eventual 'reveal' that Kagome was in a different world all along rather than sick! Preferably though, I'd rather not see that happen.

Pretty adorable ending.

Reminds me of Tsukuyomi with the sequence of nightmares. Inuyasha definitely ask for that sacred word. Look how far he have achieved with this group of friends. Nice filler at least.

I thought episode 100 would be something special, but it was just a filler episode.

An episode that really highlighted the spirit of Inuyasha. Seems appropriate for the 100th.

For the 100th episode, they basically made a recap. But it was a decent recap done with an intense premise. I guess they couldn't do a complete recap because they already switched to a different animation method so showing the old animation would look strange. But man, old animation scenes contrast a fair bit with the new animation. Makes me want the old hand drawn animation back.

Very fun anime with cool fights, characters, monster designs, and some good comedy too! Definitely good for a beginner to watch, although the length might be a bit intimidating at first.

Actually, this episode is my favorite ❤️That shows how much Inuyasha cared for his friends and how he feels incredibly lonely without them. Also, while the others where having nightmares, Inuyasha appeared in their dreams to wake them up, showing how important is Inuyasha's existence for them❣️When they fight their nightmares, Inuyasha is happy and proud of them, indeed he says that these are the ones he acknowledges as friends. I think that this episode wants to show us how strong is the bond between Inuyasha and the others❣️❤️
