THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- And my wish came true!(that Akai is alive) Or is it? I think maybe that Conan and Shuu came up with some trick or something. But it's kinda of weird for him to be walking around like that even if he can't talk or lost is memory, or did he? This reminds me of that episode about that boy who hate Shinichi and had a surgery to look like him but could not imitate the voice. I doubt that guy is the real one. I wonder, if Akai like Bourbon(the drink), could it be that the one we think that goes by the code name Bourbon(Subaru) is Akai in disguise (I wish that was true).  |

Since I strongly suspect that Akai and Conan hatched a plot to fake his death to allow him to move against the Organization without the FBI's knowledge, this episode really makes them look like asshole as we see how much pain it's causing Jodie. Shinichi's always been a jerk, though, and the show's never acknowledged it. |
