There are episodes of the series that or even double or triple parts where they parody a different one. Hell I still remember the Kinniku Buster court case episode, The ball germ episode which later turned into a Nausica parody, and the infamous Monkey Hunter Screwdriver Arc. He's also used some sources like Ookiku Furikabutte which surprised the hell out of me. So I'm expecting more parodies. Edit: WAIT WHAT? |

Gintama is a phenomenon in that it exceeded expectations and became incredibly popular in Japan (don't let the small western fandom mislead you). It does sell well or it wouldn't have lasted so long. And anyway, the Gintama merchandise area were always crowded in the Animate shops I've visited this summer much more than Naruto x3 |

| It's actually very hard not to believe that this is the end of Gintama's anime. They're making it look so believable that every episode now is just too painful to watch because of that thought. I won't get my hopes up and think that they're only joking, but at least Sentai finally got Gintama. Long live Gintama! |
