Maybe I missed something but how did Rita escape her time loop if there was a hidden antenna, her brain, just as Kiryia was an antenna for his time loops? If that were so she would of been trapped just as Kiryia was until there was no longer a connection but somehow Rita's death resolved Kiryia's loop even though there was still an antenna, Kiryia?

Also it implied that Rita was able to continue time looping after she defeated the mimic responsible and the backups. Did the rules change for Rita in that she was able to loop back to a particular time of choice or did she have to loop all the way back to the beginning and catch up? It also goes back to how was Kiryia was unable to escape even though they had met the same exact criteria needed when Rita was able to escape, or at least move on, from her time loop.

I just got done reading the manga and I kinda had the same reaction to it. Maybe there can only be one antenna or something?

I don't get it either. So he killed her before and she went through it again. That means she's stuck on that. How did he get away from it?

She acted as a backup anntena for his loops. Either she died, or time would just keep looping for him and everyone on the base (though only he would remember).
Rita escaped her time loop, because there was only 1 attena present, the server.
Kiryia couldn't escape b/c there were 2 present (Rita and the server) but he only killed the server.
(It's implied that Rita developed the anntena some time AFTER she broke from her own loop, so technically when she broke free there was only one antenna present, the mimic sever.)

Rita only implies that there can be only 1 antenna to exit the loop. For me this also means that their brains are also server backups as they can generate their own signals to loop back.

But since it was said that signal should be sent only when sensing threat they both should exit the loop after defeating all mimics as they wouldn't be in danger anymore...
