| Best is to simply play both Danganronpa 1 and Danganronpa 2 first (can either buy them for PS Vita or on Steam for PC, or torrent them if you're a #filthypirate). You can also watch the anime adaptation of DR1 and just play the game for DR2 thereafter but I wouldn't recommend it as much since the anime for DR1 wasn't adapted very well. Once you're done with that you can watch Mirai-hen and Zetsubou-hen |

| Don't watch DR3 first, that's a terrible idea. One of the 2 might be a prequel setting-wise but it's not the kind of prequel you want to see as the past is kept hidden in each game and is a big aspect of both games. Watching the D3 anime first will no doubt spoil both of the games, more so with Danganronpa 2. |

Then play Danganronpa 2. Then you can invest your time in non-game format material, such as anime or manga. |
