Looking for anime with romance subplot and some other details.

Hello, as the title says, I am looking for an anime that hasn't got romance as its main theme, but includes it as a subplot. The details are:
-The anime must have a point where the MC ends up in a relationship AND doesn't end at that point OR starts with the MC being in a relationship.
-The animation should be as modern as possible.
-No loli mc/mc's partner.
-Ecchi is ok, just not in Highschool DxD levels, where it makes the main plot irrelevant.
-No yaoi. Yuri is totally fine.
-A strong plot with well developed characters is obviously most preffered.
The best (and only) example I can give you is Parasyte. *spoilers* The MC ends up in a relationship/already has a relationship with Murano, and part of the plot is its development and the way they get past their problems.

Bakuman would probably be the perfect anime for you.

It seems most of the anime you watched are action-type though, so I hope you don't mind the absence of action in this anime. Because this one is based on real life.
