What is your favorite fighting game?

| Street Fighter by far. I also like King of Fighters but it's hard to find Europeans to play competitively with. Wouldn't mind playing Tekken competitively someday, but I'm not gonna buy a PS4 just to play Tekken. Mortal Kombat can be fun but it's a pretty barren fighter. I've heard X is pretty damn hard, though. Smash is a party fighter, not a traditional fighter, so not really fair to put it on this list. |

| Gotta go with Dead or Alive on this one. I just love the fast pace and the unique combos the series offers. Overall though I'm not much of a fighting game fan. I'll play some Super Smash Brothers on occasion, Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a lot of fun, I'llsometimes pop in Mortal Kombat 9, and I've tried and failed to get into Street Fighter and Tekken, that's about as far as my fighting game experience goes. |

| I've been playing a lot of Melty Blood and Under Night in Birth. They're really good games and I definitely recommend fans of 2D fighters give them a try. I also tried Skull Girls, but I didn't give enough time to get a full opinion of it. Ultra Street Fighter IV is my goto fighting game. The Street Fighter IV series has a lot more content and polish compared to V that it's hard for me to buy V even when I find it for 40 dollars. |
| Skullgirls is definitely my favorite fighting game, but I also play a lot of Smash and some of BlazBlue. I want to try Guilty Gear too. |

I like watching competitive melee and used to play myself, but it really shouldn't be compared to SF, Tekken, etc. It's just completely different. My main fighting game is Ultra Street Fighter IV. Yes, I still play it while almost everyone moved onto the shittier, more noob friendly street fighter V. I wish I could have liked V. I really do. But there was no way that was going to happen when I realized that capcom decided to put a 3 frame buffer on literally everything. Remember all those hype moments in USFIV tournaments when pros would pull off these insane punishes/combos requiring extremely tight execution with multiple 1-frame links? Yeah, that's never gonna happen in V. No unblockables, no plinking, no 1 or 2 frame links, no FADC to extend combos, just shitty, watered down and simplified fighting mechanics to appeal to the masses. |

| Man, that was really hard to decide! I like so many fighting series for different reasons.... I enjoy smash bros, KoF, Tekken, Virtua, SF & snk vs capcom, but I chose DOA. DOA has my favorite system by far, especially if I want a quick pick up and play kinda match. I find DOA's mechanics very satisfying. |
