The second volume of the light novel Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Mou Ichido dake, Aemasu ka? (SukaMoka) will reveal on July 1 that its prequel series Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (SukaSuka) will be receiving an anime adaptation.

The light novel series is written by Akira Kareno and illustrated by ue. SukaSuka had five volumes between November 2014 and April 2016, while the first volume of SukaMoka was released on April 1, 2016. The series received a manga adaptation drawn by Kaname Seu, which has been serialized under Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive magazine since June 27.

Synopsis
Five hundred years have passed since humanity went extinct at the hands of the fearsome "beasts." Even up in the sky, where the surviving races dwell on floating islands, these monstrosities constantly threaten to bring death and destruction. Only a small group of young girls, the Leprechauns, can wield the ancient weapons needed to defeat these creatures. Into the girls' unstable and fleeting lives, where a call to certain death could come at any moment, enters an unlikely character: a young man who lost everything five hundred years ago, the last living human awakened from a long, icy slumber.

Hmm, not the best Light novel adaptation we'll be receiving soon, but still, it should be interesting; or so I hope.

My goodness it seems like these LN authors are just competing to see who can create the longest title for their novels.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

The only thing I dislike is the long ass title (Even the English translation of said title sounds pretty dumb). However, the premise sounds a little interesting, so I might watch it.

Kinda looking forward to it the summary makes it looks really interesting and this tags Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Sci-Fi kinda make me excited i just hope they will make a full adaptation since there are only 5 volumes might even get a 2cour season, cuz wouldnt be exactly nice if they do just half of the LN and leave us hangin *-*.

Also ill add this news article http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1455301 guess they are picking up the popular LN that dont have an anime yet so we can expect some more of it in the future from the list i would say also this is the extended list

The idea of Leprechauns heroes got me excited until I understood they were only regular "light-novel teenage girls".

Still, since the series is complete, it could make an interesting fantasy story.

This IS the best you're receiving. Sukasuka is an extremely good title.

No action, no harem, no ecchi, no school life though, so as an anime it may fail to find its public if not advertised properly.

The name has a nice ring to it, reminds me Eiji Mikage's works, been interested in it for a while too so an anime is nice.

Yeah...That synopsis sounds generic af...But since i have no idea about this thing, googled the name and saw these quotes about it:

If you want action, Sukasuka isn't for you, sorry. It's more about character drama than action.

Yes, there is a romance in it, and it play huge role.

-no harem
-no ecchi

So...With these informations alone it sounds like a good shit to me...I am moderately hyped...

Because of these giant bugs, humans do not live on the earth anymore, but in floating cities instead. Anyway this is a good news. This joins Youjo Senki and Violet Evergarden in my most hyped upcoming LN adaptions

Didn't expect these LN get an anime adaptation. HYPE!!!

With this, Youjou Senki, Violet Garden & Tenkyou no Alderamin next season, I have faith in LN adaptation again. Seems Japan finally knows that "Battle School-Harem was BAD & BORONG" for now.

I hope for decent studio like SUNRISE or JC Staff or White Fox or KyoAni.
