I literally wake up at 6 am to go to work and come back at 7 pm.. Drink booze and grind like a mother fucker before 12 AM so I can go to sleep. Read LNs and watch Anime in between.

Just work at day and watch anime or play games at night, it's not that difficult

Working wouldn't hinder you from watching anime or games actually unless you work 24/7

But then when do you sleep, sleeping is so nice too.

This isn't really a dilemma unless you're addicted to anime.

At 10 pm,
2-3 hours for anime/games/internet after school/college/work is enough at least for me.

I'm aware that sacrificing sleeping time for anime/games/internet in working/busy days is a great mistake

when I had a full time job, it helped to remind myself to watch an episode a day. just 30 minutes a day. that way it was doable and I could still enjoy my hobby of watching anime. the really short animes are also easy to watch when you're busy since they don't take up alot of your time.

I have a pretty serious job, and along with other hobbies and general life/responsibility bullshit it really does cut back on my anime time. I mostly watch it at night before I go to to bed, maybe 3-4 episodes.

video games haven taken an even bigger hit...but that I don't miss as much because games get expensive anyway.
The football field isn't the only place where you could use a good line.

I'll be honest with you with me and everyone single other person i know from school and college once you enter work both games and anime take a back seat. It went from being my focus of the day to maybe if i can manage an hour gaming now and again to nothing. Instead get home have tea and watch some series.

Life sort of takes over a friend of mine dropped gaming all together after starting work. Says he spends too much of his time at work or with his fiance to be gaming like a teenager now a days.

Adult life sucks - That said, you can't escape it

I work in a fairly professional job, have always wanted too. i enjoy my work and i enjoy my time at home how i like. It's all about keeping things balanced, don't work too much but also don't let your work suffer because of your hobbies. I've just come out of a job where half the staff were all about getting drunk and "YOLO" while the other half seemed to spend all there time at work and they all seemed as miserable as eachother.

Life would be unbareable without hobbies like gaming, anime, exercise & socialising etc.. You just have to maintain balance, you may not be able to stay up till 3am to watch anime or play the newest CoD, but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate them just as much.

"gaming like a teenager"

so sad that fun hobbies are looked down upon with more serious jobs and relationships.

Or he means that he doesn't find it fun to sacrifice 10 hours a day to just game away. Not even I can and I don't even work or have any other responsibilites to steal my time. It's just not the same after a few hundred games, not like in the past when every new game was an event.

I watch mostly watch anime in my free time and on weekends, I haven't gammed much for half a year though which I hate, I've gamed every now and then but not much, I intend ot start gaming a lot soon though.

When I started working, my interest in gaming and anime definitely declined. Now that I'm on holidays and have time for gaming and anime, I kind of started to reflect on why I even do these two things.

Hobbies are supposed to be inherently fun and enjoyable, not simply as a means to pass the time. Over the years, they definitely have become more of a means to pass the time. I wouldn't say it's working per se that changed my priorities, but really a gradual shift that happened over time on my perspectives on these interests.

I think games are generally okay for me still but I definitely will never go back to the length of time and energy I used to invest in this. And I think that's perfectly fine, because I've identified areas that's more meaningful to me than games.

I've always went slower and slower on my anime viewing as well since I neither have time to blindly trial and error which anime is worth watching nor the desire to experience such a repetitive activity.

Long story short. Our interests and how we wish to spend our time changes as we age. This isn't to say adulthood "ruins" you, but that it's normal to expect things to change. Instead of resisting it, always do the things that's the most meaningful to you, be open to change and enjoy the present moment. And if you're not sure what to do, go with your gut feeling.

back when i still have a job i can still watch anime but less of it, like 2-3 shows per season only, heck this days i only watch few shows per season too so it does not change much

so really it depends on how much anime you usually watch right now, because if you are gonna watch 10+ episodes per day then you will have to drastically cut down on how many anime episodes you watch per day since your job is your priority and your job will eat more of your time

Being the resident old codger....some tips:

Prepare well. Prepare or organize your meals.

Chores. Run your chores when you get home from work, and do them fast - as if you were getting paid for it.

Budget. Budget time in the evening for it.

Everything must now have a rigid structure that wasn't there before. It is OK. Just the way it is from now on until you die of healthy old age.
idk about you but the closer a girl gets to looking like ronald mcdonald, the more aroused i become. CAV

I find anime a bit more easy to handle than games. With anime you can come back after work, and watch it while you eat etc. Games is a bit more active, and in my case anyway, I kind of want to "switch off" after work.

That said I have plenty of friends (not into anime) who have no problem with gaming. But for myself, I went from competitive gaming to week-end warrior.
