| Nightcore =/= Nightcore There are good artists and there are bad ones. For example Nightcoremaker A: - Takes a popular song - Speeds it up by 15% - Takes any Animepic - Uploads it - Promotes his Channel with spam on boards and other videos Nightcoremaker B: - Takes a not that well known song, maybe from his homecountry - Speeds it up by various percentages - Remixes it, so only the catchy parts are there for the listener - Adds Subtitles/Animations to it - Uploads it with link to everything he used(Song, Art(only with permission), website etc) - Looks how a Video is recognized and is producing new Videos based on the preferences of his viewers As you can see A is producing cancer in probably 15-30 minutes per Video while B is creating some enjoyable music in 3-12 hours of work. I am a type B. I ocassionally making some nightcore songs out of german songs wich are not well known in the world and are sounding nice. In addition I don't just speed it up, I usually sit 1-5 hours just to remix and remaster a song to my likings. If I get the MIDI files I am even switching some instruments or I am changing some parts of the melody. My problem is, that many people don't even wanna hear it, because it beginns with "Nightcore", but people who have more brain are at least hearing an song to the end and are judging me then. This way I have only ~100 but very active and nice subscribers and about 10k Clicks per Vid. Please don't compare these Cancermakers to a person who uses hours of his time to create acceptable music. | Nightcore songs of anime music is cancer most of the time. Like most anime music that are nightcored are already high pitched and fast. R.I.P my ears. I'm happy to hear some nightcore songs of some english songs that aren't mainstream, or at least I never heard of. Dunno why people take offense at people enjoying altered stuff(more than the original), it's not like they don't credit the original source. Making money off of it is bad taste for me though. |

| Nightcore is simply a song sped up and the pitch changed, but usually people post nightcore accompanied with an anime or manga image so it's often associated with anime fans. I personally enjoy listening to nightcore and think a lot of songs sound better that way. |
| "Nightcore" I never heard it so in the past I was thinking it was some form of "Darker Hardcore" or something (Dark Hardcore is a genre, yes I know) from what people have said about it, seems like a genre that wouldn't appeal to me, I'll be here listening to Grind/Jazzcore. |

| Nightcore songs are usually edited song made to sped up and be in high-pitched voices. The voice on Nightcore reminds of that of Alvin and Chimpmunks, they are somewhat annoying to me. Nightcore was created by two Norwegian artists, whom they release their songs in speedy way. |

| Well, I have a nightcore youtube channel. I don't monetize it and I'm not just speed it up but do some remix on it just for fun to spend my free time... But I agree that most of people just speed up the music and increase the pitch... how effortless |
