| The recurring classroom itself was within the box. It's known as an 'internal box'. And because only a single day was repeating itself, it's not like much time passed. Only a single day in actual time. Even if time stopped outside of the box, it doesn't really change anything, no one would notice anyway. Think of the box as its own world. If I remember correctly, they didn't go into detail about the world outside of the box. It's not worth worrying over. Basic conclusion - the recurring classroom was literally inside the box - the people within the box were real I believe, they just couldn't notice the loop - and whatever was happening in the outside world was never explained (if I remember correctly). |
