| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Akane is awesome as usual. We also got a giant ancient whale in the sky reported by the news this episode and seen around live. What I also find interesting is how it made it look really different from anything else in the series. Glad to see Shiina appear again, such an underrated character. I like that owl as well.  |

| That sky whale was quite the majestic beast. Those hotcakes looked mighty tasty. Who knew Kenny was such a badass? Always nice to see Anzu, but Akane better pay up! XD Only one episode left. :( |

| Ohhh I really loved the fantasy feel this episode, and I kinda wish there was a little more like that. Anzu was really adorable I love owls so that's a plus |

| The whale bit was pretty cool. I'd totally love to see something like that. And the history with the pancake/hotcake stuff was interesting too. All in all, another soothing episode. I gotta get to the last episode but I can't jump to that yet as I gotta do some stuff for a bit D: |

| Excellent episode, Absolutely loved the small whale adventure. Quite the majestic beast and all those ruins gave the bucolic atmosphere of the show a little mysterious feel to it. Liking Anzu more and more, She's great :3 Those pancakes looked delicious, Kei would make a good wife XD Anthropologist Kenny, He is one smart cat :O That bill for Akane XD |

| Anyone else think Hogwarts when they saw the owl? Lovely episode as always, Damn this show is so heartwarming. Also the Terry Pratchett books depict witches in a realistic yet magical way. |

It was very cool. I'm a real sucker for ancient ruins, etc. I'm even intrigued by abandoned factories and warehouses. There is something so forlorn about such places. It's nice the way this show will introduce something new each episode. This one we have the celestial whale, the otherworldly postman, and Anzu's owl familiar. |
| Yet another episode from the fantastic connotation and sweet and relaxing atmosphere, as it was beautiful the first part of the episode. I did not think we would have revised Anzu, I imagined that history would bring other innovations without relying on the old ones. Excellent drawings and animations, ditto for the CG and the sets. |

| The flying whale is amazing and majestic. Finally some broom flying scene. Pancake scene was also nice with some cool facts from Anzu. I like her now. And Akane having a big tab from the cafe. How heck they let her pile up the debt? One episode left. :( |

| A flying whale, nice. And the scenery on it's back was lovely. Anzu joined the party, and apparently really likes taking pictures as well as discussing theories with cats. Really freaking smart cats. And I learned so much about pancakes and hotcakes today. And I knew as soon as it was mentioned that the message was for Akane, that it was probably for not paying. JUST WHAT I EXPECT FROM THE BEST. Good episode. |

| Nice episode. But there is one thing that confuses me. If you have to use magic to see the whale, how is it possible to make a photo of it? If it can't deceive optical devices, its existence should be known. |
