Why do Angel Beats characters take Yuirppe's orders?

Seriously, Yurippe is a muddafking bitch. She sends her underlings on mission that only benefit her, punishes them excessively (like when she told them they couldn't eat 4 a week), and sits on the sidelines while everyone else does all the work. Why the hell do they obey her orders? Why don't they ever say "kiss my ass, we not doing that!"? Those GirlDeMo girls shoulda dumped that raw liver on her head.

I've always wondered, because I hated her as a character! I think it's only because they had to to go along with a story, plot convenience. Because, I have never heard any reason, from the anime or the Visual Novel

possibly because she was the one who has better leadership all the others as she is mainly the one who started this battle against god (and kanade). Theirs also the possibility she was the one who has been in the afterlife the longest (excluding kanade).
