| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I'm starting to find that alien guy to be rather creepy this episode. However, also glad to see that Ouma came right on time before Yukina got hurt. Nice lightsaber duel Actually kinda surprised how skilled the alien guy is though. With the way storytelling is going, I think there will be more times when Ouma will have to resort to drastic measures to save Yukina even if it means killing.  Those rice balls are freaking huge |

| Well it was a nice episode with a funny ending. Tho it was very exciting till the halfway point the enemy pilot had some plans with Yukina but things didn't went according to his plan. I wonder what more will come there way now. |
 That's it. That's what you get for trying to kill the "Princess". At least Kennosuke's now getting closer with Yukina in that "date". Notice Kennosuke's massive Onigiri. LOL And Akagi's now even believe in his future plan for becoming a pilot. |

| Crap, what an awesome episode. That sword duel was something. I really loved the way they showed how Ouma was shaking after killing that guy (that guy was brutal as fuck, by the way). And then Yukina hugged him to calm him down. Gotta be one of the best scenes I've seen so far this season. Other than that, that scene when they were eating onigiri was really nice as well. Ouma with the big one, lmao. I'm shipping Ouma and Yukina so damn hard now <3. Can't wait for next episode! |

| Damn that Alien was badass. Killed all those men without a conscience, and was about to kill a ton more if his automatic hadn't run out of bullets. Kennosuke finally had to put him down, but too many mysteries remain unsolved. Wonder where Yukina's dad went though. |

| Now that's a proper-sized Onigiri!! =D It's good to see a sword fight without the use of the relic mechs, and what a fight it was. The alien guy got desperate at the end after he was struck and paid the price for such a foolish move. There's still plenty of mysteries that remain unresolved about this alien guy, but I'm sure it'll be answered in due time. P.A. Works are at it again with the scenery porn. The location that Yukina and Ken chose to have their picnic looked jaw-droppingly beautiful! ^_^ Overall, this episode was really good. =) |

| I feel like sticking with this show is paying off in recent eps and this was a really good one. So far the mood has mostly been lighthearted but I have a strong suspicion it's going to become a little darker in the second cour (like Nagiasu did) and the new key visual does seem that way. Hopefully this show is just gonna get more epic and live up to being a 15th anniversary work. |

| @komasan The fact it is an anniversary project (in other words, a big vitrine for the studio abilities and creativity) is the main reason I started it. Just like Last Exile from the old glory days of GONZO (Digimation). It is quite sad it will never get the wished exposition for such projects: Betflix is not really what you could call an effective vitrine place, especially for an animation series (a Daisuki or Crunchyroll global license would work better) |
| The momnent you see a samurai from an old era using and taking advantage of modern technology than Yukina is quite funny. Its quite satisfying to see that scumbag get stabbed in the back. You will never kill the princess. Yukina is quite pretty don'tcha think? Hoping we to see more Noelle. If she gets closers to Ken, I think things would get more interesting. |

First half: Meh, the villain is trying to hard to look mad and evil before he gets taken down. I didn't know Kenosuke had never killed before. I mean, that's what I can tell based on his expression after killing the guy. Second half: Meh, generic "boy meets girl" story. I'm getting to old for so many shounen cliches xD jaja PD: That lightsaber duel tho. hithummah said: that facility has the worst security personnel ever. I know right? I mean, a guy with a sword comes running at me to kill me, better not use my submachine gun to shoot him! Oh no! My partner has just been killed by a guy with a sword! Better not use my submachine gun to kill him AND run away to a room to call for help leaving the door open and then look at him shooting at me with previous said submachine gun. I know this is a shounen and for the most part I can't expect everything to make sense but come on! xD |

| Episode I appreciate, because it is brought to light the alleged truth and for giving another little incentive to form the sweethearts couple also another piece of history is revealed. The characters are adorable, and really nice, drawings and animations excellent, ditto for the sets. It is so great that we went the whole pot with curry. | If this show had more moments with Ken fighting on foot, I feel like this would be even better (just picturing Shadows of Colossus style fights between him and mechs). Good episode overall. |
